Strange one that. When he first joined Real Madrid a few years ago he was the next big thing (despite being 14 I think) and it just didn't go to plan. Fast forward to more recently and he was apparently bossing it in Spain and could be starting to realise his potential.
If he's given a bit of time to settle he could be an inspired signing

Agreed, clubs like those 2 (and RB Leipzig) seems to specialise in buying young talent, giving them lots of opportunities to blossom then selling them on to the big boys for a healthy profit
And managers too, when you consider that Klopp was succeeded at Dortmund by Tuchel!

Does anybody remember Davies from our games against them? I cannot but they've opted for the stop gap with Owners not showing willing to spend big to retain the title. The are beating teams atm with their 11th CB partnership of the season.

To be fair I cant even remember Charlie Kirk from the game against them in August so definitely not going to remember the games against PNE

Yes, remember him looking particularly solid alongside BFG when they beat us 1-0 at the Valley in November 2019. Paul Gallagher scored a penalty with that stupid run up of his, after Pearce fouled Stockley, and PNE went top. Our attack was awful that day - no Taylor or Williams.
Winston Reid has joined Brentford on loan. I'd forgotten about him as it's been so long since he last played for West Ham (an excellent defender in his time)
