Welcome Omar and all the best.0

Welcome Omar. 27, done well in lower leagues and a unit. Has some Taylor hallmarks and certainly a player I wanted us to sign in 2017.
I think @harveys_gardener is banned isn't he?? Bogle was one of those players he was a big fan of iirc.3 -

He’s scored goals before and played at Championship level more than most strikers in this division. As has been pointed out already, Taylor came here at an older age and didn’t have the most incredible record. Look what happened. We know Bow improves players and he is different to what we have and we will be bringing in another striker too.
Support the player and give him a chance to succeed. Bowyer often gets these right.35 -

I'm okay with this I guess. Though very similar to Aneke, can you imagine playing in defence up against those two?
Could work out to be a very good signing and someone we rotate Aneke with... Just as Bogle goes off and the CB's sigh in relief on comes the younger version...
More muscular version then!
I automatically remember his name at Arsenal Academy still when I think about his previous clubs and assume he's still early 20's! As for Bogle he's been around for what feels like forever so always assumed him to be in his 30s!2 -
He's younger than I thought. I'm happy, he's had a bit of a difficult time recently but he's capable of doing a job and he fits the style Bowyer wants to play more. If he can bring the likes of Maddison, Washington and Doughty into the game more and provide a platform for our midfielder to arrive late in the box and score, which is what Bowyer's always looking for, then he'll be worth more than just his own goals. He hasn't looked out of place in League One so I'm hopeful this will go well

Given that we’ve only given him a one year deal I’d guess that we’re treating this as a bit of a gamble rather than thinking this is the man that we’re pinning all our hopes on. More of a Chris Dickson signing than a Lyle Taylor in my eyes.2 -
Theoretically - could the aim be to play him in the middle of a front 3 ..... 4-3-3 style.
cos Maddison, Bogle and Oztumer on past league one pedigree should be good for 15, 10 and 10 goals respectively2 -
Sounds decent! Played dutch premier league and recommended by a club legend! And 282

Biggest shame is, on a 1 year deal, will we ever get to sing it to him......1 -

billysboots said:He's a horses for courses sort of player to get us out of the division. Hopefully he will be able to bully defences and hold up the ball and lay it off to allow our midfield that is streaming into the penalty area to put them away. As well as creating chance after chance for the quick no9 that we are about to sign .......0

https://youtu.be/QgSRo-xco4o at 0:43 - outpaced the CB and nice technique to lob the keeper
https://youtu.be/kin7KKqHozc at 1:30 - lovely first time shot on the turn
https://youtu.be/SNoBzRwyCvI at 1:05 - great cushioned volley given how quickly the ball was driven at him
https://youtu.be/5M-uO687MJQ at 4:24 - was credited the goal after the match
Think your question was a bit tongue in cheek but ask and you shall receive. :-)1 -
Good starting position for Bows to improve.
Welcome Omar. Pleased you are with us.0 -

The website and all of their social media are always littered with grammatical and spelling mistakes. They're dreadful.Hopefully now that we have a competent owner things will change there as it is very embarrassing.

Like the one year option we seem to be offering with these deals. Gives the player a chance to push on.2

or we can go 4-3-3 and have Maddison (15 goals), Bogle (10 goals), Oztumer (10 goals) and achieve the same? Maybe.0 -
If Bowyer rates him, I’m fine.0

He's not Welsh but his last parent club was Cardiff, so near enough!
Can't say I'm over excited as he's only been prolific at L2 level, but he has a good pedigree in terms of the clubs who've taken a chance on him and indeed was a regular at Cardiff in the 18 before Harris took over4 -

In League 2 he was prolific and for us he was prolific in League 1, then he became a treacherous see you next Tuesday.3 -
The only real physical presence we have is Aneke, a player capable of half an hour here and there only and not much more. Therefore I'd say this bloke is needed to bulk the side up (assuming he can play more than Chuks) and his previous record, albeit at a lower level, suggests he knows where the net is.
Bonne scored 11 goals last season. If this bloke can do similar or better we should avoid relegation and perhaps do even better than that.3
