Im a massive fan of Pochettino, but if this team hasn't won the league by Christmas I think he deserves sacking

It's ridiculous that one club cab sign Messi AND Neymar AND Mbappe.

It's so unfair that they've got the best passer in world football, the best crosser in world football and the best striker in world football.

And they've got Neymar and Mbappe as well.

is it just me that hopes they come runners up in the league and go out the champs league at knockout stages.

He's a wimp for joining psg.

People want entertainment. That's his job, to provide entertainment.

He knows the premier League is the best league in the world.

    Let down
    I don’t get this.

No Premier League clubs have made him an offer. Why is it all on him?

It’s not his job to entertain you. He’s reached a point in his career and life where he can literally do whatever he wants.

I know we all think that footballers exist purely to serve us, but maybe, just maybe, it’s a move that suits his family more than England?

Keep in mind he didn’t really want to leave Barcelona. I expect if he’d had it all his way, he’d still be playing for them and his family would still be living there.

It's 2 hours at most in a private jet, so he could commute from Barcelona if he didn't want to move 😁

If you're going to play for PSG, you might as well play in the MLS.

Really boring if he signs for PSG. For the best player in the world to go and play in a league nobody gives a shit about.
It's all about the Champions League and nothing else.

Thought them Arabs may lose interest but they seem determined.
Messi,Ramos, Donnurumma and GG Wilnadum signed for free?
Messi Neymar Mbappe could be ridiculous

Hakimi also signed, one of the best young wing backs in the game.

    Donnarumma
    Hakimi Ramos Marquinhos Bernat
    Di Maria Verratti Wijnaldum Neymar
    Messi Mbappè

As a potential starting XI is frightening, with people like Kimpembe, Navas, Paredes, Herrera, Icardi, Sarabia and Gueye on the bench

How do they manage it with FFP?
  • How do they manage it with FFP?
4 players signed on a free plus Hakimi for 60m. Messi allegedly got a 25m signing on fee and if we say (for example) the others got 15m each then they've spent less than 150m on all their signings.

They have a huge squad now though, so will definitely look to sell 4-5 players and get some money back.

Also more importantly the French league moved their own spending rules back 2 years because of Covid, so the earliest PSG can be sanctioned is 2023, and UEFA have also relaxed their FFP rules because of covid too.

Didn't realise rules had been relaxed.

It was always going to take a giant going down for football to take the crazy money sloshing round seriously. Wouldn’t have bet on it being Barcelona though.

newspaper speculation he could be going to Miami .. he's 'mates' with Beckham and has a house in Florida
  • I heard that he has a house in Kidbrooke, and is looking for a local club  ;)

They should sign CR7 too and we can finally see the 2 play together and they can settle who's best once and for all!
  • I hope he doesn't go. I hate the structure of the MLS; franchised football should not be a thing, and him going there only encourages them.

It's the perfect "retirement" league. And all the legends went the the NASL first time round, so he would be following the likes of Pele and Beckenbauer
