To James Doyle the spoils in the Wolferton. Moore had no real path on Sir Dragonet, did quite well for second I think.
SSR being very openly critical of the ride from Moore on Sir Dragonet.

I retract my earlier comment. Watched it back and I'm amazed he held up Sir Dragonet so much. Absolutely cocked that one up.
  • Yep, Battleground takes that easily enough.
  • Wow that was incredible from Stradivarius. Turn of foot after over 2m on soft ground.
  • Cracking performance from Stradivarius that
  • What a performance.
  • I give up... Not sure why I thought backing against Strad was a good idea
  • What a horse. Fantastic to see that from Stradivarius.
  • That was incredible

  • What a magnificent horse - breathtaking performance.
I'll be there next year to see him win a fourth.
  • 284 thousand entrants in the ITV7 today.
1 left (on Waliyak in the 4.40) going for the £150k prize.
any other horse wins would rollover the jackpot to £200k tomorrow
  • He/she must have had a bet on the others?
  • Id be laying the feck out of it on betfair

Youd hope so. Rich if so
  • 19/6 .. 3 O'clock .. Spanish Mission .. silly price 40 or 50/1.. defo e/w bet
  • anyone else just think Ryan Moore is totally overrated. Makes so many poor decisions. Gets a lot of winners but I reckon I could saddle a few he gets and I'm 6"4 and 16st.

He’s certainly the most criticised on social media. James Doyle is much better value for me.

Definitely, Doyle and Oisin Murphy both much better. I like Atzeni too.
  • My own picks for Friday (prices may vary slightly):

1.15 - Art Power to win @ 9/4; Triple Spear each way (16s)
1.50 - Golden Melody to win @ 9/2 or so; Valpolicella each way (16s)
    2.25 - Lipizzaner to win @ 3/1; Imperial Force each way (10s)
3.00 - Anthony Van Dyck to win @ 11/4; Defoe each way filth (13/2)
    3.35 - Lope Y Fernandez to win @ 9/2; Millisle each way (10s)
4.10 - Born With Pride to win @ 5/2, also considering Berkshire Rocco at 9/2
    4.40 - Good Birthday e/w @ 10s; Medal Winner e/w @ 8/1. I think Scarlet Dragon could massively outrun 40/1.

    Ben Linfoot's tips as follows:

    1.15 - Keep Busy
    1.50 - Willabell
    3.35 - Royal Lytham
    4.40 - Al Muffrih
    4.40 - Indianapolis

Hugh Taylor's tips as follows (prices have obviously already collapsed):

    1.15 - City Walk
    1.50 - Golden Melody (hey!)
    3.00 - Hamish
    4.40 - Durston

Had a bad ascot tbf. If he had won on soffika id have turned £9 into £9k! Poor ride!
  • Only like millslie or latham or golden horde today. All same race. 🙈

    otherwise:
    Art power
    morando
    durstan/elmisk
  • 19/6 .. 3 O'clock .. Spanish Mission .. silly price 40 or 50/1.. defo e/w bet

    N/R ((:<)
  • 3.00 -  Probably an “out there” selection but I’ll be backing Alounak each way at 50s. German form wasn’t too bad (2 wins on soft) and was only a length behind Anthony Van Dyck at Santa Anita. Joined Balding, who ran him for the first time a couple of weeks ago at Newmarket. Could well be an also ran today but at 50s, got to be value.
At more sensible prices, I’ll also be on Morando, if the rain continues.
  • Four for me today:
    1.50 - Golden Melody
    3.00 - Elarqam
    3.35 - Pierre Lapin
    4.10 - Berkshire Rocco

Excited for the 3pm, has the potential for a top battle between Van Dyck and Elarqam.

  • 1.15 electric ladyland ew
    1.50 flying aletha
    2.25 the lir jet
    3.00 defoe
    3.35 millisle
    4.10 al dabaran
    4.40 good birthday

  • 1.50 - Golden Melody
    2.25 - Jojo Rabit 16/1
    3.00 - Morando 11/2
    3.35 - Lope Y Fernandez 7/2
    4.10 - Nobel Prize
4.40 - Le Don De Vie
  • Nobody fancy the double then?

    Nobody fancy the double then?

B V .. lost on the slow aw, won on turf good over 6 .. change of Jockey .. Ellison in terrible form .. BUT of course well worth a right outside punt and in a 6F .. you never know .. good luck and may both Bonnes do the right thing ((:>)
  • That was a very, very good win from Art Power. Group performer in the making, methinks.
