I really don't think there will be any need for people to demand that - it is an absolute given.
As well as a knighthood i've seen other suggestions such as naming a hospital after him. Would be a great gesture to do that as well, given the money he's raised.

Unfortunately I think a World War veteran raising £12m plus for the NHS when he's almost 100 years of age is not sufficient justification for a Knighthood.
Going to the pharmacy. You basically have to stand several meters away and shout your symptoms at them. Bit embarrassing when buying a nit comb, though I've got to say that lead to everyone social distancing from me more than they did when they could assume I had a deadly virus!
