Excellent hundred by Foakes. Not easy to have so long without cricket to then hit your straps straight away. Credit to him. Shame none of our other batsmen could really contribute anything.
Dont underestimate Dunn he can block out for a long spell. He was famously at the other end for 150 of KP's 300 odd not out for Surrey at the Oval a few years back and he only scored 2.
Ouch ouch ouch. Look away for an hour and suddenly we're 79-5. I hope this is the wicket going mean, but sounds like the Kent batting getting a tonking.

Not great, but then that Kent batting lineup looks very thin without the 3 internationals and Kuhn

102-8 at tea, restart delayed by falling water droplets. Kent lead by 166.
Last year we couldn't post a first innings score, this year we can't bat in the second innings.
I fear this could be Essex all over again. Please don't let us be the only team these muppets beat this season ...
Looks like Kent Surrey are going to be saved by a famous Fanny raindance
Correction
Actually I don't think 182 (our current lead) is going to be easy against our attack if they get any play tomorrow. I imagine Stevo will be licking his lips, seeing that Curran and Clarke got 8 of the wickets today.
Even in their first innings it was only Foakes who got more than 30.
Hopefully Kent’s desperate and dismal attempt to contrive a defeat will be thwarted by the weather but Slurry might get 5 hours to thrash their way to a victory which would be plenty And things had looked so promising Missing players for international call ups I suppose is a sort of positive

How dare you even compare that Slurrey runt to the lord God Stevo!

No need to mention the wicket taker is there?

Podmore strikes
Stevens again
If so, it's just NOT cricket !
All wickets great and small,
All batsmen good and wonderful,
The lord god Stevo takes them all.
The Lord Stevens once again strikes
77-5
