Mourinho said last week that he doesn't feel Parrott is ready, so i'd guess a loan move is almost certain.
Also Jose is not exactly renowned for playing youngsters, and given that Spurs are only in the hunt for 2 trophies (and only 1 of them is realistic) he's never going to put his faith in a 17 year old kid.
Parrott would be decent, well thought of and certainly could be a pleasant surprise like Gallagher. Idah and him as the two loans in is a decent start
A lot of Spurs wanted him to start yesterday so he definitely has something about him
It would be one or the other unless Taylor is on his way. Because Gallagher was a great success at 19, that doesn't mean a 17 and 18 year old, who would be kicked in the air in the Championship would emulate the success of Conor.
The bulk of our deals need to be for defenders. Improvement to results will be severely limited if we have to rely on the current crop of blunderers. Without 2 quality CHs we’ll need at least 2 goals to be in with a shout of drawing games. All improvements will be welcome obviously but focus has to be on the greater deficiency
Don’t rate him that highly then. Don’t we normally put players in the Marriott
I think that’s possibly due to being on trial, if it’s a new signing waiting to rent or buy somewhere then I can see the reason why they’d spend more to keep them happy, better facilities etc, for trials, this makes more financial sense and only minutes from sparrows lane, I might be wrong but that’s how I’d play it, that’s if we do actually pay for trialists accommodation, it is a job interview after all?
I hear we are after Troy Parrott, I hear we are after Troy Parrott, I hear we are after Troy Parrott, I hear we are after Troy Parrott, I hear we are after Troy Parrott.
I hear we are after Troy Parrott, I hear we are after Troy Parrott, I hear we are after Troy Parrott, I hear we are after Troy Parrott, I hear we are after Troy Parrott.
So he doesn't actually have a Charlton scoop he is just regurgitating something that every Brentford and Charlton fan already know, yawn
Sadly that’s Twitter journalism for you. Most of what gets shared on here from twitter has no decent source behind it, even those tweets from pro journalists.
By the way, doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate those who post tweets on here for those of us without twitter.

Do you mean when we beat the two best teams at the Valley this season Brentford and Leeds without conceding a goal ? When our defence have a young U23 midfield and have a young kid up front from Enfield then I'm amazed how we managed to keep the score under 4 goals at times during December and early January.
Wait, the same shite defence managed to keep another clean sheet with the returning Cullen.
I look forward to ESI spending money on A championship class proven CB.

Disagree that the “bulk of our deals need to be for defenders”.
With a stronger midfield back in place, that will alleviate the intense pressure our defence has been under for last few months. I’m certain that will stop us conceding at the rate we have been.
Our defense is more than capable of keeping us up, as said it's the midfield and lack of creativity that is hurting us. 'We are seriously being overran in midfield' as your assistant manager on football manager would say
Makes a change for Charlton to actually be linked with players in a transfer window and to really think we might sign some players this week or even on transfer deadline day, normally a damp squib for us

Yes, forgot the Mourinho factor!

You can say that again
Idah
Parrot
Kean
Pogba
Maddison
Mowatt
Gnanduillet
Clarke
From that list I would like Parrot, Pogba, Maddison and Mowatt. I think we’ll end up with Idah, Pogba, Maddison and someone who hasn’t been mentioned.
Also browsing the net it seems that Sunderland have made an improved bid for Doherty.
