One for the stats people, good comparison between Lyle and Toney
Surprising to see Taylor not finish top in any of the comparisons between him, Wells and Toney.
The article makes Toney sound quality apart from his finishing. Never thought much of Taylor in the air anyway, he tends to just bend over looking for a foul, the dribble stat does surprise me though, I have a Taylor down as decent at going past people but Toney far outshines him.
Florentin is a defender playing in the MLS, must be him.
Mathias has played in England and Scotland but he’s a striker currently in the Spanish lower leagues.
Sign all three brothers and we could have a spine of Pogba’s through the middle of the team.
Looked on wiki, totally underwhelmed. A journeyman footballer if ever I saw one. Definitely not one who will improve the team in my opinion. And definitely not one who will push us on to the next level.
It's quite possible that he's just training with the club as a favour to someone? If not, and they're interested in him, I suspect it'll be for a good reason, as Gallen and Bowyer have shown they have an eye for a player.
Atlanta United FC was only set up in 2017 and has the highest average attendance (52,510) in the MLS, and an incredible stadium. And for the second time it's the MLS’s most valuable team. The third-year franchise is valued at $500 million on Forbes’ annual list, up from $330 million last year.
None of that means the standard is massively high though.

As an American I can tell you, with the exception of maybe LAFC, Altanta play the prettiest football in MLS. Great quality and fun to watch
I know he hasn’t made hundreds of appearances but how did Pogba do there?

According to the Atlanta United page, he made 22 appearances for the club. Their two main CB's are Leandro Gonzalez Pirez, and Michael Parkhurst, 2 players that have already garnered cult status by their fans and are mainstays in their starting 11. Because of that, it seems as those it was tough for Pogba to get a majority of game time. He played a big role in their Campeones Cup win (winners of MLS vs Liga MX), winning the penalty that sealed the win, and also featured in their US Open Cup Final win in August. I watched it, and remembered thinking he looked quite decent. I haven't watched him an awful lot though, so I will snoop around the Atlanta forums and see what they think
"LyleTalyor of Charlton linked with moves to Villa Blackburn Blackpool Brentford Bristol C Burnley Palace Ipswich Leicester Lincoln Liverpool Man U Newcastle Forest Preston QPR Reading Sheff U Sheff Wed Southampton Stoke Sunderland West Brom or Wigan".
From what I gather from the Atlanta United fan page, Pogba was a very solid player for them last season. Featured in some big games for them (they won trophies in both). I have not read one negative comment about him and when the news broke that his option for 2020 had been declined, the majority of fans seemed very disappointed to see him leave. As I stated, he wasn't the first name on the team sheet due to two club heroes ahead of him, but he seemed to be a very dependable squad player who rose above expectations when he started games.
He can play both CB and LB which considering Lewis Page's situation, might be a good shout, at least until the end of the season.
While many people, including myself remain very critical of MLS, if there is one team who consistently churns out entertaining football, along with making all the right decisions, it is Atlanta United. I'm not Gallen or Southall so God knows if signing him will be the best call, but he is indeed worth the look we are giving him

I'm surprised no European teams have signed Josef Martinez from them!!... 72-goals in 80-games???

He is soooo fun to watch!! Has a more annoying penalty run-up than Lyle

Let's be honest none of us are going to have a fair review of him. He's only 29, decent pedigree, versatile left sided player, big, strong and no slouch. If Bowyer thinks he's good enough then that will do

They'll be onto scaffolding firms web sites now.

Come February there wont be anymore transfer talk so the player can get with Football again
I'd be surprised if he is still there though, reckon he'll go somewhere on Deadline Day
See the mistakes and the Nabster would be on the bench for Rochdale.
Until we get a CB who is better than Sarr he plays. Quite simple really.
