Love this bit. “Huddersfield and Charlton have been very active in the transfer window this month as they look to avoid relegation from the Championship”
Have we?
Active means we have been putting out bids, which is accurate.

Lost Gallagher, released Kayal, released Ledley...
Incredibly frustrating, would be a good signing for us
Agree, him and Lyle up top would cause havoc.
Don't you think Taylor and Bonne would be a great partnership if they ever get game time together ? 45 minutes so far.
I do like Bonne, I think he gets a lot of praise for his endeavour and passion, and we warm to it because of his quick rise up the ranks.
But he’s not on the level of Grant. Could be proven wrong if he gets further game time with Taylor, I think he’s a good option to have but I see him as our third choice forward in an ideal scenario. As harsh as that may sound with his record.
Grant had how many games before he looked the part ? If Taylor leaves in this window Macaulay will be our number 1 striker.
As I haven't heard that Maddison has signed for Birmingham, I expect Marcus to sign for Cafc as Lee Bowyer will get a handle on his character and who could be a better mentor than the "enfant terrible" himself. Bowyer won't let this one off the hook.
I can't quite understand why Cawley has been allowed to release the information about Idah.
He's pretty tight with Bowyer and is often not 'allowed' to release names until after they've signed for obvious reasons (like Green).
It could be either...
a. he's already signed a deal with us (providing he get's through the Norwich cup match) b. we're not really in for him and it's designed to give other strikers, who we are in for, a kick up the butt to sign quickly before we go elsewhere c. other press were going to release the info and he's decided to get there before they did
It is going to be difficult to recruit proven Championship or even League one players as they will expect to go into the starting 11. With the quality of players we have who have just returned from injury or are due to do so soon, we won’t entice players of real quality in this window. A striker will not displace Taylor, and potentially Bonne when he returns. Nobody will get in ahead of Cullen, Field, Williams or Pratley.
Maybe a centre half, particularly a tall, strong, ball winning player may get a decent chance at centre back. A new left back may displace Purrington. Otherwise it is hard to see why a certain standard of player would join us if they are a starter at their own club.
A proven Championship player probably would go straight into the starting 11 currently - we’ve won once in the past 8,000 games for goodness sake!

I'm thinking 'c' but i'm hoping it's 'b'.
Hmm
Forward, Midfielder, Defender.
I've put the protective sheet on my matress just in case
read that as if they get knocked out they possibly will be
