Reading the comments on him suggests he'd be best at the tip of the diamond. We'll have a squad of those players soon.
All cutting edge and effall else .........,,,,I'll get my coat 😉

This just popped up in my twitter feed.

Maddison clearly the player that asked about Bowyer's contract  https://www.football.london/charlton-athletic-fc/charlton-transfer-market-arsenal-chelsea-17562561

Never have truer words been said. Eventually this CL classic would find its place and take centre stage:
Who leaves, may be just as important as who we bring in. By the end of this month we will have a flavour of the philosophy of ESI.
Bowyer, Gallen, JJ, Avory, Marshall need to be sorted so the new potential signings know the lay out and ambition of this club.
Still can't get a handle on where we are at with pitching our wages, as 8 to 18K was mentioned for Lyle. Yet Red Henry who has had he's scoops on here says it's well under 10k for Taylor ?

I thought I’d take advantage and be the first one in.

I'm close to the club (on Floyd road actually) don't have any info though
Not Canterbury, or is that where you're from?

    UKC wasn't it Canters?
Ohh God! Started this off again haven't I!

Firstly don't actually live in charlton. was making a joke about the number of people saying they have someone "close to the club".

Was at UKC in Canterbury when i made this account on here (having previously lurked with another account) hence the username. Now live in Streatham Hill.

Not quite @Leeds_Addick living in Greenwich but similar.

Leedsaddick doesn't live in Leeds?  Since when?

  • Since he was a student I believe.
  • Id still like to think a bit for Sam Baldock at Reading would be worth a look as would Scott Hogan at Stoke ( on loan from Villa ).

Correct, and even when I was living there it was only for 9 months of the year... stupid username

Just met with a nice guy in the pub, says his son Andy Delort is on his way to the valley for a medical.  Anyone heard of him? Things are heating up nicely.

Can Eric Delort speak English......... I doubt it. B)

Well with Connor apparently departing and a few coming back to fitness our midfield is now even more threadbare for Saturday.  Need something to happen on the arrival front over the next 48 hours.

Pratley, Morgan, Dempsey and Vennings*. Preston must be quaking.

    * I realise it probably won't be this...

Hopefully not, but we can't risk rushing Cullen, JFK or Williams back in to start too early.

Early days and I'm sure we will have some more bodies in by Feb 1st ?

Not sure if @77redarmy77 is from our academy or @AFKABartram paid a fee (undisclosed) but a very good debut, short, concise and on target, 77 knows the history of Threads on CL by going for Andy teardrop Delort, the Charlton Legend who never played for Cafc. Similar to Cory Gibbs.

77 may be a Alfie Doughty, but it's early doors and at least he did not say" 100% Marcus Madison won't sign"  like another new kid on the block. Rule 1 say 90% because you then have some wriggle room.
    (50/50 until he signs ?)

Welcome all, but do get to know the CL members style because irony is in abundance plus we have a few Members that are a few episodes short of the full box set.

What would be the advantage to Chelsea of Gallagher being recalled only to go on loan somewhere else again?
So he’s in a better team surrounded by better and more experienced players?

Mentions discussing 2 players with Peterboro chairman, about the vision for the club in the future, "who wouldn't want these 2 players playing for them, who wouldn't want Ivan Toney in their team, c'mon, really?"
Isn't there a conduct all your business in public theme developing here?
Isn’t that better than being kept in the dark about everything as before?

If Gallagher, Cullen and Taylor goes, we don't have a hope in hell of staying up
