Half time score about right.
Need to up our game 2nd half and try and stop south Africa dictating how the game is being played.0 -
Easy to blame the ref who hasn’t been as bad as everyone is making out albeit he’s not been perfect. Fact is that England started badly and haven’t got their heads round South Africa’s game. Very ragged play. Signs though that this can be done if England can put together some sustained possession and make some right choices. Mustn’t be chasing a lost cause with 20 to go though or they’ll get picked off. All to play for but a stiff talking to required at half time. Terrible game to watch.1

I haven’t watched much rugby for quite a while, so maybe things have changed, but it seemed to me that some of the players are doing that thing that footballers do - ie appealing to the officials to give pens etc.
Isn’t that a big no-no in rugby and one of those things that rugby fans always bore everyone with when claiming rugby is the superior sport?4 -

So sloppy at the moment. The one time they did have the ball, south Africa were terrific in defense.0 -
We just need the game to open up a bit. Ford and Youngs need to step up in the first 20 mins of the 2nd half. Or better still, switch Farrell to Fly Half and put Slade on.1

Still think we’ll do it. Sinkler was a blow and Daly is beyond nervous but that aside we should have enough.0

6-1 for England to score a try in the first 10 mins of the 2nd half, hopeful but not the worst odds. But considering we didn't manage it in 40 I am hoping we come out with a bang!

Don't be ridiculous, different styles. South Africa are not pretty to watch and I imagine a lot more awkward to play against. We aren't really firing but I doubt that's because its the final just sometimes the way. Fingers crossed we get something going in the 2nd half.0 -
