Because the comms team think it heightens interest, whereas all it does is piss off the fans.
Just release the pictures together and be done with it.
It's more a case of basic marketing 101. Why lose the impact of each one by doing them together when you can give them their own platform? But also, the home kit won't be worn until September 19th, so there's no real rush. It also takes time to put together all the imagery and videos for the announcement. The photoshoot was done on Friday, I finally closed the laptop at 11.30pm after going through 54gb of raw files, just for the away kit. We're working through the bank holiday to have everything in place for the launch tomorrow and then work can start on the home kit. We want to do it properly and professionally rather than rush it through and release all at once.

Yeah great , when will I be able to buy the kit for my kids
I've only had a couple of shirts over the past 10yrs or so, but buy them every year for my little boy. Always like the shirt reveal as it means the season is just round the corner! Hope we have a non clashing away kit this year, so we dont have to piss around with a 3rd kit. I get why the big teams do it to maximise revenue, but I think it's a piss take if the kit is hardly, or never, worn like last season.
Charlton are excited to announce a new partnership with KW Holdings and Vitech Services as the club’s new front-of-shirt principle partners for the 2020/21 season
I know one lifer in particular who is very happy about this sponsor
"Steve Wisdom added: “As a lifelong fan, it is an immensely-proud moment to be able to sponsor the club’s shirts. Whilst the brand awareness is a factor, we also feel proud that the ethos of our businesses is akin to that of Charlton and the numerous family connections strengthen that furthermore.
We hope to be able to take a more active role with some of the Community Trust’s work and help out where possible. As I have often said – It’s often not easy being a Charlton fan, but it’s never boring!”
Meanwhile, the club would like to thank Shane McLaughlin at BETDAQ and the Children with Cancer UK charity for their support for the last four seasons in what has been an exciting partnership.
Charlton's new strips for the 2020/21 season will be revealed this week, with fans getting their first glimpse of the brand new hummel away kit on Tuesday."
Don’t know the fans/companies involved but pleased a family run, Charlton supporting business is sponsoring us. Feels better than the bookies etc that seem to sponsor most teams these days.
Glad to see local sponsors and neither logos are bad looking (personally prefer the KW one). Would be nice if both were material type ala The Woolwich or Mesh but expect they'll both be transfers as seems the cost cutting way these days.

Does that kit suggest IPS Law are the new sponsors?
or Elliot in full kit with feet up on desk at SL grinning
I'm hoping the new kit is nice and we're taken over so I can finally buy one

A few of us who were working in the museum on Friday sneaked down to the fans bar and gatecrashed the photo shoot.
And just that shoot took hours so I can see what Olly says about all the work that needs to be done.
Kits aren't my thing but I liked them but so did the younger people there who do buy/wear them.
Pleased the sponsor is a more Charlton organisation and it will be the same sponsor on both the adult and kids kits.
