This heading made me panic for a minute

Mansfield sign Ajose & Grant on loan

Mansfield have brought in Charlton Athletic forward Nicky Ajose and Nottingham Forest midfielder Jorge Grant for the rest of the season.

    Relief

Kiko Casilla signs for Leeds for 4 and a half years on a free transfer after he negotiated a deal to buy out the rest of his Madrid contract

    Great signing for them

good signing for Robinson .. when fit he did a good job for us
  • Superb signing for a Championship side but harsh on the kid they have in goal as i don't believe he's done too much wrong this season and he'll now be warming the bench.

Bit inconsistent. That's one hell of an upgrade.

At one stage Bielsa said that Peacock-Farrell was to be dropped as he was not performing well enough. So the next game they did, he wasn’t in the team, following that Jamal Blackman who was on loan to Leeds from Chelsea suffered a horrific injury which meant that Peacock-Farrell came back in, but not exactly out of choice, but it made him up his game. It’s an area of the pitch Leeds have needed to strengthen and this is a great signing for them.

Loved him when he first signed - the few games he played that season - but found his play very frustrating towards the end.

if you like your defensive midfielders to only go backwards then yes. He also had an error or two in him per game. combine Sarr & Reeves & you have Kashi.

    Unbelievable.

Sarr who has been one of our best players recently and Reeves who scored a couple in the last few games he played for us since his injury, but he’s back now and I have no doubt he will play well.

Most of our players have errors in them, we are in League 1 not the Champions League

Portsmouth sign Bryn Morris from Shrewsbury .. been on loan at Wycombe .. looks like a squad 'strengthener' for the run in and one for the future (he's 22)

don't think it has been mentioned on here. Ben Thomson was recalled by Millwall from Portsmouth. He had possibly been their best player this year.
Villa recall Andre Green from Pompey, dont know how influential he was, but isn't helping Pompey losing two regular Championship level players.

  • Robinson does like re-signing old players. The protracted signing of Reeves for us, bringing in Holmes and now Kashi on loan to Oxford...

Kashi scored the longest range goal I've ever seen Charlton score AND he put 100% in every game.

I know, as a fact, Kashi wanted to stay but no contract offers or terms were ever mentioned to him, so he had to look around and do what was best for his family. It’s not a surprise to me that he is back in England.

To me he put in a perfectly acceptable level of commitment, I'm not sure I'd put him in the 100% category though

Walsall sign defender Cameron Norman from Oxford. Some interesting replies
Take me back to a time when we kept hold of our young players with potential, signed up and coming players, had a manager with a brain, and an owner that was in the country, not this joke of a board, loaning 31 year old players he used to manage, never changing tactics!! 😢 #rant

Cardiff sign Niasse on loan from Everton. For a club like that a decent signing

I wonder if the Oxford fans still think we were jealous when Robinson left us?

Really? Don't think he is a Prem striker, can't see him scoring more then 3/4.

Is he the one who dived to get a penalty against Palace for which they complained about?

But then Cardiff don't concede many either (certainly against the teams around them) as they tend to park the bus

If he can nick 3 or 4 goals, which clinch 1-0 wins, the extra points might be crucial

He got 8 in 22 last season so he could get 5/6 in 16

possibly, don't rate him at all. He did have a few sub appearances at Everton though, but Cardiff won't create as many opportunities as Everton.
