Not for me, though I'm only competitive 5 games into the season. I had issues with the game crashing but after updating my graphics driver and downloading the update it's been fine.
The game always factors in Brexit (Since FM 2018) and has random routes for Brexit. Unfortunately as the manager of Charlton you can not sway the decision...
One of the biggest lies in video game history is that football clubs use the FM database to scout players. The only articles you will ever find on this subject originate from a conversation with the people who make the database. It's all unnamed clubs, or "someone is about to start using it for real!" - they've been saying the same thing for over ten years now!

Both those stories are precisely what I am talking about - it's all bullshit. In the first link, all you've got is some quotes from the guy who makes the database (Jacobsen is the one who provides quotes on all these stories) and nothing from Everton. I mean, do you seriously think David Moyes found, let alone signed any players based on that database?
The second one is an alleged use of the database... by the team that Sports Interactive were sponsoring. It's all sales talk to sell the FM games. I doubt very much anyone in the scouting or even coaching team were even aware that the commercial team had set up a deal.

Gonna start something over the weekend, not sure who to be though. I usually stick with English clubs but may do a Leipzig one, good budget to start with.
Just started a Charlton season, getting rid of the high earners like Sarr and Vetokele, replacing them with loans to cover the gaps in the squad.
Got Fosu, JFC, Aribo and Grant all on new deals. Just BFG to go now really.
Only played one friendly. Anyone got the best out of Taylor and Grant, save me trying lots of different things to get them working?
Taylor on the right playing as inside forward has scored 20 by January. Had grant up on his own as AF, started well but took a knock so has about 10 in 20.
Interesting, I was going to go with a flat 4-4-2 initially though. Will have a play around with them I think. Played the first friendly with Grant as an advanced forward and Taylor as a pressing forward with the attack duty. Grant played well, Taylor didn't do much.
Is anyone else finding FM19 easier in comparison to last year?
I'll be the first to admit that I've never been great at FM, but I haven't found the game this easy since using cheat tactics back in the day.
I managed to win the league with Charlton, without changing my tactic (442 Diamond) throughout the season once, and I sold a lot of key players (Aribo & Bauer - Sunderland, Taylor - Burton Albion, Reeves - Ipswich, Vetokele - Copenhagen). I was also in the process of a takeover (thank god), that placed me under a transfer embargo throughout most of the January transfer window, but I still won the league by 9 points and got to the Checkatrade final. This never happens; I was sacked by November in my first season with Charlton in last year's edition.

Fingers crossed.
