Shame they've both ignored Brentford v Barnet with the reverse game being the best game televised in the Cup this season

Probably the reason why, sharing the TV money out.
I know other than Newport the TV money wont mean anything to the other 3 and it would to Barnet, but they probably thought as the 1st game was on tv give the replays to other teams
9 against Burton Surely they can get 10 against Newport
Sorry to be pedantic but its Newport v Man City ... Game is at Rodney Parade rather than the Eithad
So probably only be nine again
Haha I knew that Hartson mentioned it enough
Loved Hartson comments when he was asked what Pep will think about facing Newport and he said he would be worried sick.
In 2019 Man City have played 9 games Scoring 34 goals including 9 against Burton, 7 against Rotherham and 5 against Burnley they have conceded 4, I am sure Pep is more worried about getting struck by lightning than facing Newport
Don't know where Robbie Wilmott was when he was at Chelmsford. Looks much classier at Newport.
Wilmott was part of the team that lost in the playoff final to Ebbsfleet. Never saw a return to league football then. Saying that Josh Rees was in that team and he's worked his way up to Gillingham.
qpr - championship 18th watford - premiership brighton - premiership derby - championship 7th dons - league 1 24th milwall - championship 20th newport - league 2 15th city - premiership 1st bristol city - championship 5th wolves - premiership 7th doncaster - league 1 6th palace - premiership 13th swansea - championship 12th brentford - championship 15th chelsea - premiership 6th man utd - premiership 4th
speaks volumes of how important some teams regard the oldest cup comp.
I think it emphasises the beauty of the cup.
If the list contained the top 16 Premiershi* teams then it'd be boring beyond belief.
Agreed... take Leicester for example; they gave Newport plenty of respect (probably the same amount that Spurs gave Tranmere) - They certainly played enough first teamers that day yet ultimately Newport were up for it more
Its nice in a way as it shows that money / budgets dont have a full impact on the game like some think they do

for clarification i stated how most of the prem clubs don't consider important, Newport getting a big draw is fantastic, millwalls gypo fans potentially getting another day out at wembley not so beautiful
A great opportunity for the likes of Wolves and Watford to go all the way. Both are safe from relegation, and I'm sure their fans would massively prefer an FA Cup final to finishing a place higher in the leagye
still likely to be a Man C v Chelsea/Man U final but I would like to see a Watford/Wolves/Brighton make it and hate to see a Palace/Milwall presence, so it still has my attention for good and bad reasons
