  • It is what it is

1st time Rangers have been above Celtic after playing the same amount of games since 2011.

    Can people stop mentioning Progress?!

    Top result tonight against Maribor.

Gerrard has already transformed Rangers in a very short time and will strengthen his squad again before the close of the Scottish window.
  • Keeps on winning. Another big result tonight in the Europa.

6 wins, 4 draws, 6 clean sheets since he took over.

90 minutes away from the group stages.

    Sorted.
  • Doing quite well at this management lark.
  • Brilliant seeing Gerrard and Lampard doing well at their clubs. Hopefully, more continue down this path, such as JT & Rooney. As we desperately need more top flight English managers, and their reputation will make it easier for them to get big jobs, compared to Dyche etc.

However, for the time being Gerrard is a blue and he is making us all proud of the Glasgow Rangers. Hopefully, this journey will continue for a long time.

  • Regardless of what people say about Scottish ZZZZZ football, that was one hell of a game
  • Incredible stuff - already have my flights and hotel sorted for the away leg, can’t wait for it now!

The back heel for Morelos to get the third was brilliant (Candias?)

Was playing Fifa but had it on the laptop. Begrudgingly from when I was watching it looked like they were well worth the win. seemed forever to be camped in oppo's half if only a little wasteful in wide areas. Tavierner is a player I see in premiership. Very good delivery on him.

Tavernier has been transformed under Gerrard.
He has always been good going forward, but has often been poor defensively until this season. Being made captain has also improved his positional discipline. He was regularly criticised and not particularly rated by a large proportion of the Rangers fans, who now pretty much love him.

Rangers turned down a bid for him of £6m from Villa earlier in the season.
  • Decent praise from Rapid's captain.

“I have to pay tribute to Rangers and the tempo they operated in, even late in the game. We just could not keep up with it.
Towards the end, we were just kicking the ball up the park and we could not hold onto possession. We weren’t prepared to take any risks and we were punished for it. It was only a matter of time before Rangers scored. We weren’t allowed any time to breathe."

    Rooney?!
Doing his coaching badge at the moment. There was a huge article in the Mail about two weeks ago, when he said that he wants to become a manager after finishing his playing career in America.

  • Beating Hearts 2-0 less than 15 gone

  • 3-0 Rangers
  • Shame - have been hoping Hearts would have a real title run.
  • Tough close fought victory today. 7-1.

Only 2 points off top with almost a third of the season gone. Think they'd have probably settled for that at the start of the season.

Not as good as Bowyer then who got an 8-0 ;)
  • And yet the Celtic team today didn't wear a poppy on their shirts. Credit to Celtic though in at least asking their fans to respect the minutes silence.
  • Just seen the Celtic fans collected £10,000 today for the poppy appeal.

The fact that they have to ask is the real issue

Absolutely, really poor that Celtic won't do the decent thing. Ironic that Rodgers and his coaching staff wore one.

Wonder if that's got anything to do with why Celtic haven't staged a home game on Remembrance Sunday since, I think, 2012.
