Buzzers? Straight off the helmet and over the ropes?
I must be the only that finds this strange haha.
I suspect that they ran 2 leg byes with another four over throws. Here's 7 leg byes resulting from a ball delivered by Graham Dilley and overthrows from John Emburey.

There's no mention of this in the Day 1 report on Cricinfo (the report on the Kent website is basically the same, word for word).
If the ball hit the helmet it would have been five penalty runs and dead ball.
Denly faced that delivery (the last of the over) and Bilbo the next so the only way it could have happened would be for the batsmen to have run two with four overthrows.
Unless, of course, Joe volleyed the ball over the rope ...

I umpired yesterday and the opposition keeper managed to let the ball hit the helmet off not one but two balls resulting in 10 penalty runs. That I have never witnessed in one innings before.

We really need some batting points as well, Sussex are above us as they have 14 more batting points!
119/7.
Chappell is being substituted for the rest of the match - meaning an 11th player will come out to bat.
Leicestershire 220 all out.
Not much chance of batting points again
Meanwhile Sussex finish at 400-7 while Warks bowl out Gloucs for 127 and finish at 171-2
