I live a 10 minute drive from Heathrow and am out of work. Given that queues at passport control are already up to two hours, where are the job ads for employing extra post-Brexit. They need to be trained. And customs officers. Ditto at Gatwick, Stanstead, Dover, Ashford, Harwich, Fishguard etc. How long will it take to build lorry parks on the M2?
No need - they will close the M2 and convert it to a permanent lorry park.

Closing the hard shoulder is dangerous to road users but is an emergency measure when there is disruption to transport links. Adopting it as a permanent measure is something else entirely.
"...Northern Ireland's top police officer has criticised the lack of government decision making and guidance about security implications after Brexit.
Chief Constable George Hamilton said he feels "in the dark" because of a lack of information.
He said he does not even know to whom he should send a business case asking for additional resources for border duties after Brexit...
...He said that if the PSNI was to take officers from other duties to properly resource policing at sea and airports it would have to close neighbourhood policing teams and teams targeting organised crime gangs.
Mr Martin told the MPs that dissident republicans will attempt to exploit any additional law enforcement activity along the border to garner support, recruit new members, and attack police officers.
He said the PSNI will need additional resources because it will have to provide protection for customs officers and other agencies if they are required to conduct checks on vehicles crossing the border.
"I think it is highly foreseeable that if there is increased personnel operating in and around the border area... whether that be HMRC, whether that be people engaging in checking of standards of other products, then I think it's highly foreseeable that they will become the subject of threat," he said.

All going swimmingly innit.
Never mind. Chippy is busy weaving a rope to tow the Republic of Ireland out to mid Atlantic. He has made a start, only several thousand more miles to go.

Rather make a few nooses out of it... For any traitors about.
So only half the figure for the rest of the EU then? Suppose that's an improvement from the last quarter where ours was up 0.1% and the rest of the EU was up 0.4%
I was told the other night by someone suffering sunstroke that i lost the plot. Thankfully you reminded them i hadn't. Great song, too reply the remainers song is clown by argent, now I know whom palace fans are referring too.

That's unfair, you would have to have once had it to have lost it.

Last quarter GDP figures.....UP 0.2%

Although a slightly muted hooray, as it's the lowest Q1 growth figure since 2009.
Danny has gone up in my estimation by about a million percent.
