The thing about being a likeable bumbling buffoon on TV, is that when you accept a job as the 3rd most important minister in the UK, you actually have to be a professional politician. Bojo didn't realise the cameras were off.

The thing about Boris Johnson is that he is quite reliable politician in that he is so clearly and completely out for himself. In some ways not a dangerous politician as his first commitment is to get into power. He does not care too much about any policy or the detail and only interested in any policy point in how it gets him closer to power. He is not a want to be charasmatic visionary who believes in his own brand of bullshit. Too many of those in the Conservative party.
He doesn't concern himself with the detail and just wings it. This can have terrible effects and implications and he is probably even less qualified to be Prime Minister than Trump is to be President. He is corrupt, dishonest, doesn't focus in meetings and cares little for anybody other than him. He can be quite bumbling and self effacing and amazingly it allows him to be forgiven for all of his faults!

Trump's vocal support of Boris can surely only boost his unpopularity with the British public.
When you're only vote of confidence is from a man who has drawn thousands out to protest under a giant baby balloon, you know you're not doing well.
You would think so. There’s a lot of weirdos out there that go to march for Tommy Robinson. They’ll lap bojo up in a second. Salt of the earth Brit who stands for queen and country, backed up by the melon that is Trump
I think channel 5 should do a show where Trump, Tommy and Bojo go on a road trip to rediscover what Britain should be all about
So the Tories have gone against eight parliamentary conventions in recent months, things that make our Democracy work, things that are I think are at the very core of the worlds oldest parliament.
1. Breaking the pairing whip. 2. Misleading parliament. 3. Stopped nodding through. 4. Not handing out white papers. 5. Suspending cabinet responsibility and not telling anyone. 6. Not attending opposition day votes. 7. Loading committees in their favour. 8. Try to break up early for summer.

They are an absolute bloody disgrace!
I still wonder about that phrase. At what point did the man/woman in the street ever have control in this (or any, for that matter) country?
As for points 1-8 @Cordoban Addick...spot on. We are in a fecking mess because of Cameron and May and she is getting increasingly desperate to shore up this government. Her selling of her deal on Marr at the weekend was a mess. She didn't sound convinced herself, let alone trying to persuade the public that she knows what she's doing.
There was me thinking it was because of a desperate government at war with itself and with no idea how to fix the countries woe's and being prepared to break any moral or respected convention that it can to hold on to power. And all for the good of the Conservative party rather than the country.
A decent opposition would have put this shower of shit to bed though. They have failed miserably.
That may well be true, but the breaking of a number of rules and conventions are nothing to do with the opposition and shows how far and how dirty the govt will go to hang on to power.
I’ve been giving Brandon Lewis a bit of a pushing about a primary school in his area the council want to close, he’s a slippery bu44er so it doesn’t surprise me.

Now I know it is the oppositions fault though.
I wouldn't call her the bionic woman, more wonder woman, I wonder how long she has left.
[just thought I'd get in there first]
