The funny thing about all of these tweets is none of them know what life with Roland has been like.
What were NFFC's league table finishes with him in charge? Any relegations?
Did he stop supplying the youth team with Food and Water?
Did he sell any sign of academy talent at the first opportunity?
It appears that he sold a number of first teamers without the Manager even knowing it would happen. In one case the day after that player had scored. An academy player worth money is the same isn't it?
Duchatelet has probably had LDT trying to interest all the best ex owners he can find - this guy, Cellino, Bechetti, Simon Jordan - just to spite us. He might have learned lessons from his f*** ups at Forest, but the interference with selection and selling talented players out from under the manager don't bode well.
He won’t be buying it. Won’t pay the £50 million plus all debts. Roland apparently said he still wants a say in the training ground too after he has sold it.
Not sure the price was ever 50m AND the debt, that'd make the price over 100m.

Look. I'm not saying he's a good fit. In fact if he's had any sort of legal challenges against his ownership then the EFL should have the balls to say " sorry mate. You had your chance. English football is not for you and we're not going to allow it to be in the future"
But reading the above article puts him nowhere near Duchatelets league of complete incompetence from what I can see. Yes I can understand the forest fans frustration but I'm sorry. This bloke is no Duchatelet.
One aspect I'd be interested to hear from Forest fans is how long it took Fawaz to sell the club and how he behaved during the sale
I've long believed that we just need to get Roland out regardless of who comes in... the bloke is a disease to Football and is proving he's happy to let this takeover drag out because he'll just asset strip and cut costs until there is absolutely nothing left - On the other hand, despite Forest fans warning us of constant failures from this bloke they were (1) Never relegated and (2) Never forced to protest
Eventually he sold the club and there seemed to be little fuss about him selling (like how Roland has acted) and Forest have been able to move on - Find it interesting that he didnt show much interest in the Academy @ Forest though as per Andy Reid's comments, wonder in which way as looking at previous seasons their U18s and U23s have had a similar sort of season to Charlton Academy at the same level
Seems that the rumours about multiple bids for the Club aren't far off the mark.
Another potential purchaser was also being shown around the Club yesterday. Pictured below is another possible owner being shown round Sparrows Lane by Leiven De Turck (second left).
Imagine the pre-match entertainment. There'd be more performers than fans watching the game!!
The Aussies have a bid on the table. It's some way off RD's asking price but they aren't going to up it. They are happy to sit and wait for him to come down to them.
In the meantime there are no other concrete bids. RD or actually his man (Van Truck) is madly searching round for anyone who has money and a passing interest in football - in the hope one will offer a higher bid. I imagine a few probably take up the offer of a free tour of the valley etc. Doesn't necessarily mean serious interest.
One of 2 things will happen. Someone will come in and offer a higher price - RD will bite their hand off for it. Or no one will come in and Roland will eventually lower his price and accept the Aussie bid.
I can't find the post but I thought I read that the photo of Fawaz looking out over the Valley from the centre circle hospitality suite was taken on Monday with De Truck man in the background? Doesn't mean to say it wasn't him but the latter only works Tuesdsys to Thursdays. WIOTOS
Fawaz was 100% at The Valley yesterday (Wednesday)

If that's the case they should give Varney a call.
At least this guy doesn't sell all the best players and actually shells out on signings plus wants to get to the Premier League. Complete opposite to Roland.
This bloke is exactly the sort of idiot that shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a football club but will undoubtedly fly through the Football League's tests.
Shocked by those of you slating the Forest fans and trying to put a positive spin on Fawaz. This bloke would be a tiny step up from Roland - less of a c$%t so just the ineptitude to contend with.

Nurse, NURSE .....!
At least it gives @MuttleyCAFC time to work on the FOT logo
Viva la thread

In an alternative universe, Fawaz is Roland, Andy Reid is Johnny Jackson, Forest Fans are Charlton Fans.
Absolutely no good will from me.

Sounds like a very Duchatelet asset strip however it did seem that he was trying to get rid of dead wood and rebuild.
2 of his managers served over a year and the goal each time was promotion.
They remained until he sold as a top half side battling to break into the playoffs.
They bought some very good players and let some go.
The whole Boyd situation was just weird.

Depressing.
