Hate to put a bummer on things, but the general lighting at The Valley operates on movement sensors and has for some time. So lights will be off unless someone is moving about and hey presto, they come on.
Very sensible and very green.
Not necessarily - if they are phorescent tubes they are more efficient left on (I believe) as the power needed to fire them up negates any saving of having them switch off and then on again...
I like this lights stuff. My car's got adaptive headlights so surely it would be quite easy to have adaptive floodlights at the ground? Only light up the bit of the pitch where there's any activity. Although I suppose the opposition goalkeeper might get a bit hacked off being in total darkness all match.

The keeper can move around and make himself busy , maybe do what dazzlers possibly gonna do once the takeover happens

He'd have to take his gloves off though wouldn't he? Hey there's another cost cutting measure right there - don't buy gloves for the keeper. Totally unnecessary.

Interesting haircut
Good spot! It looks like someone has carefully placed a perfectly formed turd on his head!
I think the main question is if, and it is a big if, Roland has walked are the Aussies ready to step in and get their wallets out because they seem reluctant up to now.

What brings you to say that they're reluctant to "get their wallets out"? Is it simply that the sale hasn't yet been completed? (In which case you could say that about any of the supposed "number" of consortia that have been in talks). Or do you have information that indicates that a price has been agreed, all legal issues have been finalised and the only hold up is that the Aussie consortium has refused to complete the agreed deal?
I'm getting the feeling that this will drag on to September, no light at the end of the tunnel. Under resourced squad till Christmas, hopefully the likes of Taylor get through to Christmas without a major injury.

+ I didn't know Roland had such a close association with the Japanese porn industry.
This.
It say he recently sold Charlton.
The same site reported he sold Charlton on 21st June, which we know isn't true.

"Duchâtelet sells damned Charlton"
Their reporter must be just as disillusioned with Charlton as we are.
.
"What about that shadowy place dad?"
"That's beyond our borders. You must never go to Duchatelet's bunker."
"Why is Roland such a Bell end Dad ?"
"Because he has illusions of grandeur and a evil plan to sell our academy children to the highest bidder and take his 20% when they are sold on again.
"What's in it for us Dad ?"
"Darkness son, just darkness."
"Former CEO Katrien Meire, called "Nightmeire" by the supporters ......."
