The booing of Novak was really harsh today. He missed the chance first half but he won almost every header and didn't hide.
His performance didn't warrant the crap from our fans.
Fair play to him for clapping us as he came off. Not sure I would've done.17 -
I dont think we have ever been as bad as this.3
-
Felt the substitutions did not work today. Reasonably competitive, but lacking a quality final ball. Then he takes Jackson off and shortly afterwards Watt, and it all goes wrong. Novak was having a dodgy game and getting stick, but he leaves him on for longer than Tony. Made no sense.
KM did her staring competition with the crowd again. Don't know if she is trying to look like the iron lady, but she just looks ridiculous and would do better to keep a lower profile. The performance on the pitch was enough to wind everyone up, without her adding to it.3 -

I wasn't assuming anything. Just wasn't sure how many Powell won. I'm not convinced by KR at all, was just interesting to know if we were quite as bad as this under Powell.MuttleyCAFC said:
Powell's management spell is part of our history - He had a dodgy start then a glorius second season. It happened. Robinson (if he doesn't get sacked) is the future. We can't assume he will have a glorius 2nd season based on a dodgy start because that is what happened to Powell!Scoham said:
How does Powell's first half a season compare?BigRedEvil said:Robinson is clueless. 4 wins in 20 something games.

I'm normally an optimistic person, but I've felt for a while now that our match against Swindon on the last day of the season will determine which of us goes down. It feels even more likely now.
I'm amazed that Robinson isn't getting more pelters to be honest. His time at our club has been pitiful. It's fine to say he doesn't have "his kind" of players at his disposal, but that's a pathetic excuse. It's his responsibility as manager to work with the assets that he has, not the ones he wishes he had. He has been an abject failure in his role and I just don't see him having the nous to turn it around. I know this administration has been far too trigger-happy when it comes to managerial changes, but this was yet another bad appointment and frankly Robinson is out of his depth. I think we are headed for relegation under him.
What a shambles. Please just sell.14 -
Back to the game we were shite against another shite team.
Fans turning on the players and each other
Thanks Roland
Just f'ing sell the club1 -
On the plus side. The Valley will be the biggest ground in league two. Something to be proud of.3

Ajose scores for Swindon, Kermorgant has just scored for Reading. Congratulations KM, your first decision, and your latest decision will relegate Charlton. Hope you feel proud of your achievements. Just go away and ruin some other business.12

The Kermorgant point is spot on but i'm not having this shite about Ajose.
He was trash here, no physical strength and couldn't score.9 -

If only the owner of the Freddo knew how apt a representation of our club their photo would go on to become...bobmunro said:

Agree he was crap here cafcnick1992. And agree that it was probably right to move him on. But not to a rival team, and we should have had a recall clause. That is what I meant regarding her abject decision making.12
-
When will they stop blaming the fans either secretly or overtly? We fans are the last excuse they have for them to avoid looking in the mirror.
I vividly remember Katrien Meire laughing and photographing fans at the first West Stand car park protest, Sheffield Wednesday at home last season, and describing the protestors as being only 2% in the meeting the following week.
The contempt Katrien Meire feels towards us is still evident.

Do you note the final bit of punctuation, which I have decided to call the Rubashow exclamation?
Why the exclamation mark? To excite the fans is it?
The regime and it's apologists hold fans in utter contempt....how do I know? Not so much from facial expressions and words, but because actions speak louder than words, and their actions have been totally destructive, and I am beginning to believe deliberately so, not as the result of incompetence and cock ups.

Go figure.25 -
It could be down to our inept management's inability to use him properly but most of the time Ajose put me in mind of a mascot inadvertently left on the pitch after kick off.cafcnick1992 said:The Kermorgant point is spot on but i'm not having this shite about Ajose.

But he did at Swindon last season, and he's doing it again this season,
maybe we didn't use the poacher Ajose to his strengths.21 -
We cannot keep cleans sheet and we are struggling to score goals.
He needs to bring Pearce back into the team. Byrne isn't a full back and Chicksen is not very much better.
We must win one of the next 3 matches. However, I do not think we will be safe until after the Chesterfield match at the earliest.0 - Sponsored links:

This exactly! He may have missed that chance but he worked as hard if not harder than watt. So in no way do I agree with the booing of him. If people actually tracked his all round game he brings the team into play a lot and his touch is actually pretty good. He also tracks to cover the midfield positions but people only notice chances missed. Which is fair enough but we don't have a goal scorer full stop. And he has the movement to get into those positions. Didn't see watt have many chances today? Novak was the one who had the half volley the goalie saved. He gets made a scapegoat when others on the pitch play worse. I agree he's a striker and should score but the call that everyone wanted which was magennis on, did nothing to increase our chances which we had once we was on and Tony watt had done nothing to warrant not coming off. I think it's absurd that Novak gets criticism week in week out and yet he goes off and the game goes flat. Same can be said for Northampton away we didn't have a chance after he went off that day.Ben18 said:The booing of Novak was really harsh today. Magennis has been almost unimaginably bad since his injury5
-
Roland and Katrien are just like Spock and Kirk - taking Charlton where no Charlton has gone before.6

Can we rescind Ajose loan?2

Final 20 minutes not good enough - what about the rest?2

A chancer or cancer, either fits him perfectly well.RedArmySE7 said:We are gash, Robinson is chancer, the club is rotten to the core.
But I'll go on Tuesday to show my respect to PC Palmer, and I'll walk 9 miles next weekend for the Upbeats.
Other than that, Charlton can fuck off.0 -
I agree, but I'm going to cut him some slack as he was very good before.Leuth said:Magennis has been almost unimaginably bad since his injury
Hopefully if he's here next season he will be back to his best6 -
My mates who are swindon season ticket holders said that last year, Ajose although he did score a lot of goals, created lots of chances for him, unlike us when he played.2
-
I went from expecting to win to watching a side that got worse and worse, is it confidence or simply not good enough I don't know, just sell the club.0
-
Need to remember that he only won 4 out of 15 games when managing MK Dons this season as well. He was appointed because he has a history of being a yes man to another owner who felt he could disregard the team's supporters rather than anything to do with football. Unless someone get a grip quickly we are going to be in League 2 next season.BigRedEvil said:Robinson is clueless. 4 wins in 20 something games.
