“The way we play means we need everyone to be at a high level of intensity – so when we get fatigue setting in it is almost compromising our own style,” he said.
So we're playing a style where we need plenty of options so our front four are always 100% fit.
Not that we didn't know that, but you can see why the likes of Ajose and Watt don't fit that style.
Not really a good fit for RD and KMs vision for a small squad though. Should have had another striker as a minimum and really another attacking midfielder as well.

So surely KR was aware he wasn't going to get a strong squad, where he would be able to rotate players on an almost like for like basis ?
Shame for Marshall. Often seems to be the case that coming back from a serious injury you pick up a niggle. Must be hard on him as I'm sure he'd love to play against his former club.
Robinson has teased Ricky being out before only to play him. I hope he's doing that here. That said, the nice thing about having Reeves back is that he can slot in to that attacking 3. Hopefully he's not too tired after Tuesday night.

No point rotating the Striker because we dont have one in backup!!
