A cracker courtesy of the girlfriend: Game of Thrones.

It seems like everybody has seen it, loves it and knows all about it. I've never even tried to watch it.

Then you're missing out. I've seen people share memes that seem to celebrate not seeing an episode like it makes then cool.

I have twice tried to watch it but have gone off it at roughly the same point, halfway through series 2. I just get a bit bored and don't feel the pull to watch the next episode. I'm sure if I stuck with it I would get through it and enjoy it.
  • How Chris Kamara is so funny

It's his hilarious moustache that often looks like he has had a moustache trimmer nightmare and had to pencil parts of it back in.

mobile phone tarrifs / usage - no idea how much it actually costs to download a programme, or browse the internet.

Just don't go over your data allowance. Every time i've had a bill high it's because I've gone over
That's my point. How do I not go over a limit if I don't know how much each thing that uses data is worth? It's not about keeping the bills down it's understanding an hour programme is using whatever amount of my allowance in my tarrif if i stream it on the move, to enable me to work out how many I can watch a month? Or how much does it cost to spend 20 minutes on Charlton life? No one can explain it to me, just to say you have a limit and you can get a warning when you may reach it. You may reach it a lot later if you knew how much each bit of data usage was costing?

I feel like it's going to a supermarket with no prices. buying your goods, handing over a gift card and then being told you have £10 left on your gift card to spend but not knowing in the supermarket what is worth £10?!

Im crap with songs and the artists... If someone plays a track I'll know it by the sound but can rarely tell you who it is or what the song is called

I'm the opposite. Can often get a song from the very start of the intro without even consciously thinking about it. Bloody curse it is, because when it doesn't pop straight into my head and I start thinking but can't get it it infuriates the life out of me.
Think you're missing the point of the thread. Any opportunity though.

I don't really understand how anyone can not be interested in cars - they are inherently interesting.

How can anyone just buy a car to get from A to B? Are you people who take no interest and are therefore the buyer of brand new Nissan notes with a 1.2l engine?

    Believe me.....they're out there!

They really, really are not Nick, not any more interesting than the vacuum cleaner or a food mixer. There are ones that look good, and ones that look shit (almost every one ordinary people can afford that was made after 1965) but interesting? Nah...
