    "Nah mate"
    "Game Of Thrones?"
    "Nah"
"But you must have watched Breaking Bad at least"
    "Nope"
    "WTF do you watch?!"
"Sport, did you see that touchdown pass from Rodgers at 3am last night? Out of this world"
    "......"
  • I go to Asda or Tesco for my petrol - they are usually the cheapest - Asda slightly cheaper than Tesco but you get clubcard points with Tesco.

Ask an AA man about Tesco fuel.....you'd be amazed how many people have fuel line issues and, when asked where they get their petrol from, it's a high percentage of Tesco fuel.
  • For me it's politics.

I don't understand Left wing / Right wing

No idea of the differences between Socialist, democrats, conservatives.

Doesn't interest me and never has.

100% this. Some of my mates stand talking about skirting boards or grouting and I'll be there like you should have seen the Excel spreadsheet I knocked up in the office this week.
    Love a spreadsheet

You spiteful bastard, Neil! Just because you've done loads and loads of work for this, just because you're a creepy little swot you've done about 15 million tons of work for this, like a girl, and I'm so hard and street and cool that I've done absolutely bugger all, and you've done loads, look at it, loads and loads, loads and loads...

The thing with modern cars is that you've pretty much got zero chance of fixing it yourself if you break down. The only time I ever open the bonnet on ours is to top up the windscreen washer fluid.

Usually it's a sensor that goes and you'll only find out which one by plugging it into a computer. Wouldn't have a chance trying some of the bodges I've used to get home in the past:

Using a paper clip to re-attach throttle cable to the carbs, turning the idle speed up to 2000rpm to stop it stalling when stationery, driving home with just 3rd gear working (praying that I wouldn't have to reverse) etc.
