BeIN sports said first top flight team rather than first Premier League team so I assumed that included everything pre-1992 also...
Sky also said the first top flight team in the history of football in this country to go their first 5 games without scoring, but they do have a tendency to forget that football existed before 1992 so not sure if this is correct?
The frustrating thing though is two wins (if they can get them and they're midtable)... None of the shite above them want to get clear of them which'll make the situation even sweeter
Deluded twats, he's the only good thing they have.
Exactly, to read some of the stuff being tweeted you'd think they'd been a top flight side for 50 years. Hold on you pricks, 7 years ago you finished 20th in the championship!
On my way home from Gillingham feeling pissed off. Then I open this thread, smiling now: )
Mate, I know what you mean but seriously they are still light years ahead of us. Hate to say this but any decent manager should still get them out of trouble with the squad they have.
Guess the only question is whether Hodgson is still a decent manager?
Is their squad really that good though? They were down the bottom last season and could well be played 8, lost 8 by next month. And if Benteke gets injured they don't have another striker.

Eight games, no points?
Happy days
Relegation beckons and it will be a great day when it comes.
Deep joy!
