I have never listened to a word he has said, other than a couple of 15 second interviews on the odd occasion I have watched the football highlights show on C5. I have read reports of his "support" for Pinocchio on here, and been a bit "Meh - what else can he say", though sometimes it's better to say nothing of course. On the other hand I have always believed in speaking as you find and Daisy is clearly charming in person, so it is no surprise that, siren like, she lures people in...
I believe he is still hamstrung by Duchatalet's transfer policy, and has recruited reasonably well as he has been allowed to make his own decisions within the constraints applied by the absent one. But he is not stupid enough to jeopardise his job by hollering about it.
By all accounts the team are playing better football. We are fourth in the table a third of the way through the season, and from what I have read, Wigan aside, we could easily have won every game.
I like the football his teams play, yes some times it leaves us open to defeats that can be embarrassing but we have had two appalling performances so far this season and 3 outstanding ones, and have been competitive in the remainder of games. Maybe bringing in BFS for a defensive clinic shows he recognizes his own weaknesses.
It really doesn't matter whether you like Robinson. I mean who likes Neil Warnock ? Arsene Wenger hasn't exactly been loved by all the Gooners. Jose Mouhrino's a twat etc etc.
It's about, or it should be about, whether or not he's doing a good job and he clearly is. He has my backing & I try to ignore the nonsense he spouts. I listen to it, but I don't let it trouble me.
Everybody says he spouts nonsense (well not actually everybody). Does he? I am geeky about interviews and such, and watch most of them, and he is genuinely interesting coming across as a proper football man. Maybe I really do lead a sad life, but if you want nonsense, and are patient enough, try Russel Slade.
some fans will struggle to like anyone under this regime, we've made a good start just very frustrating that we dropped points to gills and plymouth - may end up costing us business end of the season,
were not unreal far from it, the squad is still desperately weak, any promotion chasing side shouldn't need to have shrewsbury called off to stand a chance of getting something.
were sitting 4th which honestly is about where we should be - majority of fans will consider playoffs a minimum expectation.
i find karl a reasonably likeable bloke, he talks too much and the pr team do milk the shite out of every win we get, bit like journalists when the national team win, england are serious world cup title contenders etc.
