At first seeing these made me sad but now I'm Angry. These minivids remind us of just what has become of our beautiful Football Club under these twatS. Get Angry - Get Them Out. Message to all Charlton fans - Get Angry - Get Them Out.
Very happy memories took my Dad with me (Chelsea) for his Christmas present (the last game he went to) Journey home was fun and then we went to my sisters for a family get together, she had recorded the game and made everyone watch when we arrived.
Hate this regime
I took a friend and his Chelsea-supporting son of about seven years of age. By the end of the game the son had given up on Chelsea. The fickleness of youth.
Just keeps getting better and better. There is always the danger at looking at the past through rose-tinted spectacles but the Advent Card puts paid to this. Just looking at the size of the crowds confirms what we achieved and how we did it. Keeping my fingers crossed that my favourite game ever at the Valley will feature on one of the days.
I know he isn't mister popular around here but Murphy and Bent were unplayable for a while. Bent was so quick but an amazing finisher too. Don't think he ever quite hit the same heights after he left us.
When picking my all time favourite Charlton team we have some great strkers from Horsfield Treacy Hales right the way through to super Clive. But it would be hard not to include Benty unplayable on his day and in the premier league as well. Great work Card as usual
One of my fave goals in there.Melchiot was hardly known to be a slouch - but he had 5 yards start on Bent and got absolutely torn up for arse'ole paper there.
Whatever happens, this thread should come out every year from now on. It's a brilliant effort.
Hopefully by next year C.A.R.D. will no longer be needed, but no-one's stopping you from putting your creative hat on and coming up with something equally brilliant for Christmas 2017.
It is a brilliant but very time consuming effort, that time being given by a passionate supporter of Charlton Athletic Football club who, I would be pretty certain, witnessed many if not all of the events recorded by the advent calender. Cheering the team, wearing the shirt and bringing positivity to our great club
I am also certain that the individuals responsible for removing them were not present, couldnt give a toss who is in the videos and are 'only doing their job'.
If I am wrong and they are genuine Charlton supporters who do remember the thrill of Darren Bent rounding the keeper after receiving a slide rule pass from a talented midfield or a packed rocking Valley as we demolish Chelsea in front of the TV cameras? Well then the reasons for them being taken down are even more bitter twisted and sad.

Tbh whether CARD are still needed next year or not, this is so good, this coming out every year will be a reminder of just how good the CARD campaign was ( and is)

Knew that would be on there soon as I realised it was going to show a few of his goals.
Perfect for us, shame he was only here for two seasons.
Mr Robinson if you want to know about our club then I suggest you tune in daily.
For all of those who condemn the protests............ this is what it is all about.
Have you all forgotten what it is really like to support a proper football club? Can you not see the joy and passion in those faces and celebrations? The unity of the community springs off the screen.
Currently being in New York it is a reminder I spent many of the Premier League years in the USA and I valued every moment on the few trips I could manage to get home for just a few games, thanks to family and friends each year. There is the added poignancy that one or two are now no longer here.
I look forward to the further compilations in the days to come.
Perhaps when the Holiday Season is done we can collate a true comparison as to what we were and what we are today. There should be no need for words - the contrast of 25 days of good memories against the 25 horrors of Meire & Duchatelet will be there for all but the deliberately blind to see.
What a miserable and soulless environment SE7 has become under these people. They should study these clips in detail because this is what they should be moving heaven and earth each and every day to achieve. Not playing juvenile games to protect their own image.
Maybe then even this distorted regime will understand just a little of the damage they have wrought. Maybe then even they will truly comprehend what a unique match day experience really is.
My sincerest thanks to the compiler you have refreshed some very fond memories.
Reminded me what a pleasure it was watching Bent for a couple of seasons. Absolutely superb finisher.
The Melchiot goal is outstanding and never gets boring to watch how easy Bent made that look.
I also love that goal.
Melchiot was probably thinking "ha, I got this, terrible ball over the top im at least 10 yards ahead of... oh shit... where the fuck did he come from!"

Hoping you've got a clip of Jimmy Seed in one of them for the older supporters & family ;-)
