Are the u21s playing today or on Wednesday? I have a ticket for today against Barnsley but the website is saying it's on the 10th 🤔 confused.com.
Good question, also the website also announced this earlier. * Supporters should note that the U21s' fixture against Barnsley has since been moved to Wednesday, April 10th (KO 2pm BST) and will now be played at Princes Park. https://www.charltonafc.com/news/tickets-sale-u21s-final-three-home-matches
This just about sums up the absolute shambles regarding coverage of the under 21s this season. Games shifted at little notice, locations & dates, with little regard for the people like me who want to attend these matches. So we have the fixture list stating Wednesday at 'The Valley' & the above saying Princes Park. https://www.charltonafc.com/fixture/view/7850

Cheers Clive, that's a shame as have today off so was going to pop down there.
Those who make the decisions should always consider interested fans. At the very least decisions agreed with other clubs and venues should be communicated accurately and as soon as the decision is made. Tom Rubashow is supposed to be director of communications, he has made a living at Charlton for a few years now, so he should absolutely be on top of this aspect of the job as head of communications. Being the ‘head’ implies he even has underlings to do his bidding, so it should be done. That extends to the paltry effort communicating about the U18’s. We are a club frequently boasting about the academy, but as far as our fans are concerned what happens is mostly kept secret.
There was an irony about the academy boys and girls circumnavigating the pitch at half time on Saturday. There were a lot of them, but we were kind of expected to clap them as they went past but were bewildered. As each group started an announcer could’ve said their age group and the name of their lead coach, at the same time that stuff could’ve been displayed on the screen. Like actual communicating, eh Tom? Charlton are in the football business, get that right first and foremost, certainly before they communicate about lounges and their vile overpriced ‘food’.

I received an email from Tom Rubashow just now telling me the game on Wednesday is at The Valley. I replied that he should check his own releases. I await a reply.

Looks like that announcement about the last 3 matches has been changed - it now says it's the Peterborough game that's been moved, to Sparrows Lane, with no mention of Barnsley being anywhere other than the Valley.
However the ticket website still thinks the Peterborough game's at the Valley and is offering to sell tickets for it even though Sparrows Lane is generally only open to Valley Gold members.

What a total mess ! Surely it can't be that difficult to get dates, times & venues correct!

QPR Development Squad's league fixture against Charlton Athletic Under-21s this evening (Tuesday) has been postponed.
This is due to a waterlogged pitch at Hanwell Town FC's Powerday Stadium.

No Casey or Mbick.
No loaners playing or any previous first teamers beyond Aimee really.
