I attended the game this afternoon at the QPR training ground in Hounslow, fairly close to Heathrow Airport. It was a game very similar to the recent home defeat against Barnsley, with us playing a lone striker who was getting very little service. The pitch was in perfect condition but the game was played in very windy conditions which seemed to play a part in QPR'S first goal with our goalkeeper Molyneux beaten by long distant shot which sailed over him but then dipped into the net, Molyneux possibly should have done better when a low shot seemed to go under him for QPR's third goal, the other two goals were from penalties. Louie Watson tried hard to create chances but very little came off for him, Fiorini had a very quiet game & Ness was substituted after an hour. The next u21 game is at 'The Valley' on Monday [22.4.24-14.00 KO] against Sheffield United, lets hope for a better performance & result.

Is this Molyneux dodgy enough for the first team though?

That is the question.
Not yet. He's not 19 yet, so still has a lot to learn before he'll be that dodgy.

I wasn't going to go to this but a last minute change of heart I think. Not expecting much in honesty as Sheff Utd will go top once they win their games in hand and our U21's have been very average lately. But I'll still go
After last week against Barnsley I will stay at home and watch the feed. We have the big one against the Metropolitan Police later this week so it is likely to be a very young team today.
