  • I think it's almost guaranteed that he will get the job. The gift that just keeps on giving and giving and giving.

    Thank you Lord.
  • Please appoint Nebo so the farce can continue...
  • As much as I like and respect Nebojsa Vignjevic his achievements have been decent at Újpest and nothing more. He would be totally out of his depth at the Valley.
  • If we get him as manager it'll be shit, so shitty.

In the immortal words of Dr Watson "No shit Sherlock."
  • Sasha Ilic on twitter mentioning he's a friend of Nobby's. Also some great tweets, he's 100% on our side of the battlefield is Sasha. @sasha_ilic1 on Twitter (on mob so can't use integrated tweets too easily)
  • Is vinegar back on the table?

    He signed
    He came
    We can't pronounce his name
    Nebo oo um whatever.

Looking at the Serbian cyrillic version, I'd say

    Neb-oi-sha Vig-nhe-vitch

is as close as you could get without growing up speaking Serbian, but I'm happy to be corrected.

I am sorry @AddicksAddict it still going to be Nobby Vinegar, however you & Louis Mendez try to get us correctly to pronounce it. I would also challenge @LouisMend to try and pronounce Nobby Vinegar's name correctly after several pints.

I made up the current pronunciation after a few
  • Has Nobby been interviewed yet?

Before Riga left I should think
  • Network bosses don't get interviewed

They mustard decided to hire him after all.

He's trying to ketchup on scouting transfer targets.
  • Please RD let Nobby have a go - Slade has been here too long!

If we change manager now, we'll just be pepper-in over the cracks.

With Nobby though you can guarantee there'll be a shake up  .
  • I'd give him a go. Might as well. I just want him in charge because he used to play for Edmonton Drillers in the indoor league.

Didn't Phil McAvity play for them?

    Centre forward. Alongside Ben Dover.

It's a cracking name for a team. Centre halves loved dribbling out from the back as well.
  • Ah, so that's where the term 'back door' probably originates from.
  • Sacking Slade for this guy is the wrong salt of attitude, although a defeat to Crawley tonight could be the de-cider. When the chips are down...
