I agree with you - we should have been behind at half time, but we scored a perfectly good goal, hit the post and had one just wide which had the keeper beaten second half. They were different to us - I would say a promotion cahsing template Championship team. They battled 100%, were not physically wanting, knew everybody's job and attacked with purpose - they had collective quality - no real weak players but lacked individual quality.

When the ref cheated us, we should have beenlooking for an equlaiser, but we weren't , we were looking for the winner, so we can say with some justification we was robbed and we were unlucky! Never mind though, in some ways it is a good thing - we were going down whatever and it's the hope that kills you sometimes.

It's a shame the abuse heaped on Makienok. A lot of blinkered spiteful addicks out there. We would have beaten both Town and most probably Derby had he been alongside Sanogo and Vetokele.
Surprised nobody seems to have picked up on Riga's lone striker policy which has clearly paid dividends whenever employed by the notwork one.
Sanogo, forced to play the lone ranger v Ipswich when clearly not match fit as hadn't played since March 8. Starts the following Saturday away at QPR. Surprise, surprise hammy goes on 34.
Our THIRD shite head coach in a row. That's why we're going down.
