So ME14addick caring for her dad, Paul Ellis

I don't know where you got that idea from lol

@Henry Irving I'm not his daughter either actually I'm his niece Paul don't have any children I'm the closest his got. Actually @ellisaddick is my dad and Paul's brother.
So you're not ME14Addick's aunt either? How confusing.

I know Paul is your uncle. Did he get in OK yesterday BTW?
They changed it again saying that he would have it taken away and put into storage and he would have to make his way to the disabled gate after the game and collect it. This upset him so much he said he may not be able to go to matches at all anymore as the walking outside without the aid is the problem so I phoned mick Everett and explained he has arranged that, although he still won't be able to leave it in reception he can collect it from there after the game. It means that he can still go for now until they move the goal posts again, I'm not happy that this suddenly became an issue in the first place though to be honest.
Do you know who is responsible for the decision it can't be left in reception as it was before, and why?
Mick said to me he don't know who made that decision. Me thinks differently

So. As far as I know she is on £5,000 per month gross. Two weeks in it's already £2,500.
What has Mel Baroni done so far?
    Anything?

Come off it. That's insulting. There was the press release after the Companies House thing. And there was the wrong picture yesterday. Not bad for a fortnight.

And if the club are paying someone with that experience £60k a year then whoever made the decision needs to leave recruitment to someone else.

So ME14addick caring for her dad, Paul Ellis, one of our museum movers and shakers Henry of this parish, and Seb Lewis have been picked on to our knowledge. Others we know less of, like Gwen and her son re the flag, plus stewards hustling folk off staircases and preventing photography, yet Katrien slithers up to Airman and says he is afraid of her!
Building a better tomorrow together are we?
Whilst I think free tickets for school kids is actually an admirable thing there was something of the cynical use of those kids yesterday, calling out each school name to elicit a cheer, and getting rather bewildered kids out to wave flags...no not a Nuremberg rally, but not a joyful organic event either...simply a photo opportunity for club propaganda I thought, with that cringe making Sir Valiant getting involved to add to the toe curling.
If some of the planning that had gone into the school kids exploitation event had gone into the Moore tribute we may not be so ashamed and embarassed.
I agree with ME24addickthst the Cardiff staff on the touchline, and their fans too showed how it ought to be done.

Any guesses for the season ticket slogan this year?

How about 'Alienating the old, exploiting the young'?
I reckon Katrien would love that one.

Being in the East stand near the pitch I saw the kids being given flags etc . A Club photographer was taking photos of various kids in the front few rows. I am guessing that part of coming along to the match involved the parents giving consent for the club to take photos of their children? Where I work if we take pictures of children with the animals we have to ask the parents permission first - and also to use the image. During the match the photographer came over again and pointed the camera at a kid whilst sort of gesturing to the parent - so maybe they had sorted this

I see that all of the pictures in the 'fans gallery' on the official website are of kids. Perhaps it's time for demonstrators to post some photos of their own.

Is Meire swapping notes with Vincent Tan?

Hope not. We may start playing in blue.
  • Incidentally when returning to the lounge after the match, I passed KM in the corridor and she was having a good laugh with her guests as usual.

You do wonder what these guests - assuming they are officials from the opposing club or key sponsors - make of the regime and protests? They must be aware of it and whilst I am sure any references to it they make are laughingly dismissed by KM I do wonder if one of them made a comment about ending a deal whether a penny would drop. Probably not.

  • God knows where you'll be sitting next week, stuff like this is beyond belief.

If we're moved away from the window I will be even more angry.

I'm just sorry that my 88 year old dad who is in a wheelchair had to witness the confrontation. He doesn't need it at his age.
If they move you away from the window, that's surely more of a story to tell the press. "88 year old wheelchair bound supporter treated badly by bullying stewards" etc., etc.

Or having an old palace kit as our home one rather than the away one ..... Oh the silly Meire did try that

    No boundaries/idea/shame.

No need to delete as all applicable.

I would put a hard copy in the post as well. As with all things at the Valley the email system and IT in general leave a lot to be desired.
  • Sent my email to Tony Keohane, Mick Everett and KM - got out of office replies from TK & ME and both are on annual leave until 22/23 feb. No automatic reply from KM though.

    Not very realistic @Stig
Clearly they wouldn't apologise for the inconvenience, that would indicate that they are willing to take some responsibility. Obviously, they'd say they were sorry that some people don't understand why they had to cause inconvenience.

  • Well done ME14 for standing your ground I've never heard of anything so ridiculous that you cannot look out of a window in the lounge you pay a lot of money to the club for. You really couldn't make this up. There's nought like a woman vexed yesterday you proved that woman power is also strong within our fan base and the one day you were a customer you had your view taken away. Onwards and upwards with the protests and don't let the regime win. I see a an Everest campaign coming up even our windows can be seen out of by ardent supporters of cafc. It's a shame the club glazed over their view lol stay strong girl we are right there with you.
