good god so we now only have 4 right backs?!

How many of them are fit enough to play Saturday?
are you suggesting our medical team has sanctioned a signing of a player who isn't fit enough to make it out the changing rooms?
  • Dear Lord not another one.

Well I'm out of breath now... just done three circuits of the living room on this news!

    Wop wop, er woop woop!
  • We might as well offer Lloyd Doyley a contract as well and get Nego back

Does anybody know the name of his agent?
I would be interested to know if it is Ronny or Dean Rosenthal.

    Yep, it's Jim Rosenthal.

Sorry Seth no help at all really am.I?
  • They know Morgan Fox plays at left back?

Good to see a promised British signing though Roland.
  • Sounds like the sort of player I signed for Charlton on Champ Manager back around 2000 - just cos he had a cool name.

Has anyone explained to RD, that being resident in the UK for a few months on a EU passport, kicking a ball around at home because you got slung out by your last lot as surplus to requirements, does not make you the British signing that will strengthen a team in it's bitter fight from relegation from one of the most competitive leagues in the world?

    Thanks. (breathe Soapy breathe...)

I didn't see him for Watford but I used to watch him as a right midfielder and right back, solid at the back, a good reader of play and decent dribbler. He's intelligent, someone you could describe as 'accomplished'. He was definitely a Serie A quality player, hence his past clubs and so I'm pleasantly surprised. He would have been a great signing in August.

He was awful for Juve, signed him off the back of a good season with Roma and he had a lot of promise but once his form dipped he never recovered.

Interestingly I saw him make his one and only appearance for Italy live vs Ivory Coast at Upton Park.
  • He signs 2 unfit older defenders, but rejects Oxford from West Ham, who is ready to go and blames Riga

  • Is he trying to sign a team of Berkshires finest? Oh, hang on.

  • Italian defenders are not to be sniffed at usually.

Willing to give him a chance
  • some one said that morgan fox plays left back no he just stands there
  • Hasn't been confirmed by the club has it?

The Motta I know of from my Serie A knowledge is one that is a terrible dribbler. A reliable enough defender when fit but terrible on the ball.

But unfit, so useless signing. This recruitment is just chucking shit at the wall, depressing.
  • I wonder who or how this one was scouted ?

  • Left back. Left back. Does whichever numbnuts who selects these players ever watch Charlton play?!?
  • Let's sign 1,000 players, then release 999 of them, yaaaay progress!

Seems as though the Watford fans liked him. He's been out of the game since the summer though... how long is it gonna take him to get up to speed? And do we have enough time to wait for him to get there?
  • Great, we are crying out for a creative midfielder and we sign another defender.

    Well done
