Talk about an open door to push at, and the irony meter is at maximum.

    From the SLP article:

'The South London Press contacted Companies House press office and went sent the following response: "In accordance with The Companies Act 2006, Companies House receives filings in good faith and records these on the database accordingly. In all respects the paper documentation satisfied the required checks.

    From the fans forum document:

Why have there been so many changes of head coach?

With the exception of Jose Riga’s departure in the summer of 2014, the on-pitch performances of our head coaches have been below expectations. However, these appointments have been made in good faith.

    Need I add anything?

Good luck with that investigation Katrien.

BUT KM HAS JUST THE MAN

My only point is that the authorities often take a dim view of threats that are made, and that the forces of order have been known to take a slightly more draconian view of pranks than might you or I.

I have no association with the regime, and fully support all lawful acts of protest.

I have no idea what Duchatelet's aim is, but I worry that he sees our football club as another kind of component manufacturer, a faceless and interchangeable part of his empire.

However, we note that the company has not signed up to our PROOF scheme, which adds a security layer to such filings that would prevent false or fraudulent submissions being made.

Essentially, this free service lets you protect your company from unauthorised changes to records

Surprised everyone doesnt sign up to the Service if its free then... Because the club didnt take up this option then for me, its their own fault, the options are there to stop people from doing this sort of thing so if you dont take it up you cant really complain

where has this statement from Companies House been picked up from?

"CARD posted on Twitter that they are not responsible for the form on Companies House."

Does that mean that the site is actually called Companies House and it shouldn't be referred to as the Companies House Website ?

Of all the things commented that's the one error you're going to pick up on?

Blimey, two badly written sentences on the Charlton website and this embarrassment gets splattered all over the national press. The new comms manager must be loving her job so far!
  • I think she's training to take out any more banners in the ground.

Katrien I know either you or one of your minions keeps an eye on this site, for goodness sake take a step back and think before you act. To be a lawyer, you must be an intelligent person, one who should realise that 14,700 (98% of 15k) heads are better than 1 or even 5 if you include your 'senior' management team.

Give it up, do yourself a favour and resign officially, you know it makes sense.

A hoaxer has managed to forge the resignation of Charlton's chief executive Katrien Meire to Companies House #cafc
  • I found this bit on the BBC website:

'Under the Companies Act 2006, an individual found guilty of filing false documents to Companies House could receive a prison term of up to two years, a fine, or both.'

I will be as pleased as the next man if nothing is done about this but there is, obviously, a law in place to attempt to prevent it from happening.
  • This is becoming better and better by the minute! That Daily Mail article also has a great picture of a load of banners from Saturday.

BBC Sport and Daily Mail have got to be two of the biggest online news platforms in the UK and thanks to her stupidity Katrien has ensured she's made it onto both!

I don't think the perp will be too disheartened by 2 years of no Two Chalet Regime

If my understanding of Matt Wright's article in the latest VOTV is correct, the salary on offer for HoC, which they have struggled to fill, was increased by c£20k to £60k!

My immediate thoughts are if MB was responsible for drafting or overseeing the OS announcement this could be another poor signing. If not and KM insisted on the content, despite best advice to the contrary, then she could have saved herself a lot of money and disestablished the job.
