I don't know about buying them a pint, I think whoever did this deserves the freedom of the borough complete with the right to drive sheep through the Blackwall Tunnel, use the Woolwich ferry as a private yacht and the power to reset Greenwich Mean Time whenever they're late for something.
Katrien, if you do by chance read this here is a very serious question for you: do you think someone would have done this if you were the head of a restaurant chain or the ceo of a cinema? The answer, quite obviously, is of course not. It wouldn't happen in any other 'business' than football. This is the difference between fans and customers. Customers go elsewhere when they are unhappy. As fans, going elsewhere isn't an option. So instead we'll just keep on making things difficult for you until you get out.
There has been some discussion as to whether this might be a criminal act. Frankly though the only crime is that this lot are still here. So, hats off to the phantom form filler!
It's obvious why Katrien released that statement, to scaremonger and stop people from doing such things. What she doesn't realise is that it's a shot in her own foot, the media will lap it up and us fans will find more and more ways. She's biting everywhere, and for such a 'professional' she really doesn't cope very well.
P.s. Katrien it could have been me come find me :- )
what kind of investigation could they do?! Company house would have the details, and even then i think they'd only disclose to the police. And is a joke like this worth their time? I don't think so. Bizarre.

The thing about this for me is that statement - any professional football club would never sanction something that reads like an angry teenager hacking the website.
The statement was so bad it was absolutely laughable and it just about sums up Meire and Murray.
Interesting view; and quite right too. It was a rather quick announcement in response to this document - but they've never formally acknowledged the protests?

I can't see Companies House being able to say much other than "Oh yeah, we received it by post. The original document is in some filing cabinet - do you really want to see it, wont the scan be enough? Oh - the envelope? That may be knocking about somewhere I guess...".
Even if the police did get the the entirety of the evidence Companies House possesses - i.e an envelope & the original document - despite it being a serious offence I can't imagine it being anywhere near a high priority for them to solve - "The Charlton Protest Poster"; hardly the stuff of crime novels.
This is all petty posturing by the club - and hilariously it's shone a beacon of light on to the whole incident.

She's getting the "stewards" to take DNA swabs at the turnstiles on Saturday to compare to the licked envelope. Hopefully our hero got his dog to tongue it
I would like to interview katrien I'd get all the answers and probably Louis theroux it a bit. She would hate it but then would probably wana come home with me. I'd shape her mind to email Roland saying go F*ck yourself.

Been addicted to good ol' Louis on Netflix recently, forgot how decent his shows were.
Would be cracking to see him pull the naive/slightly stupid act on Katrien, I imagine she would think that she'd struck gold. He had a real knack for knowing just what to ask (whilst appearing innocent) to elicit a good response.
That said, one of my favourite moments was actually when he character switched and was very quick witted when confronted with an absolute asshole. During the episode about porn, he was on the set of a gay film whilst interviewing a "straight" actor. The actor seems to get very annoyed when Louis asks him about his sexuality; so he resorts to bragging about how much money he was earning... just for Louis to throw him down with a quick "Yeah, but you just had to suck a di...".

Well done whoever did it (the 'termination')
And great post Stig.
