  • Would say its not exactly surprising that at least one member of staff keeps an eye on this site....for general info and especially in this time period of protests etc.

    Probably RD himself...
  • The club's reaction is so predictable. She really does have a shockingly poor judgement and zero sense of humour. It must be a nightmare working for her. Whoever did this deserves a place in the Museum once they are gone.

    Stuffed you mean ?

There is a lifer who works at CH, wonder if he would care to comment?

    Probably not!

Ha. So there is. Say no more, nudge nudge, wink wink.

Purely on the basis of CH procedures and how this could have happened etc etc.

    :-)

I thought the plan was for RD to sell not appoint a new CEO of his making ?

    It is.

It's a route to unsettling things at the club though.

Plus it's just a bit funny.

    Un-like you.
Stop trying so hard to impress your boss

  • Has this been widely tweeted yet? Probably the best way to get the papers interested.

Prime example of anger makes you stupid. The most retarded reaction possible.

If you have to react and say something make sure the person typing the messaging is not pissed off:

"The club is aware of a report online that suggests the CEO has had her contract terminated. We would just like to confirm and shut down any rumor there is any truth in this. The CEO is very happy and the club is happy with her continued work at Charlton Athletic. Apologies for any misleading information found online that may make people believe otherwise".

  • Awful grammar, almost shouty.
  • Would national media really be interested in this? Worth a try at getting journalists to pick up on it, but i don't see it running to be honest.

Perhaps not but as you say worth a try all the same.

Think you mean the woman dictating the message rather than the poor sod ordered to upload it.

    Genuinely hilarious.

Funniest thing of all is the semi-illiterate message the club has posted on its website. Looks almost certain that squirrel face has written it in anger - thus proving she is as illiterate as she is incompetent.

Too true! The new Head of Comms is doing a sterling job I see.

  • Brilliant. And using 5th December just adds to the legendary status of whoever did this.

Don't get hung up on the phrase "on Companies House" though. Use them almost daily for work and we always refer to checking whether documents are "on Companies House".*

*note, that whilst I use CH regularly, I can't lay claim to this instance. Truly, sadly!

Damn, @cafcfan 's odds were too short as were Airman's so had you at 5/1 with Betfair

You might do, but you wouldn't use that phrase in a public-facing article if you had a modicum of common sense. It's purely an indicator that it's been bashed out in anger, quite possibly without the input of any of CAFC's communications professionals, both new and less new.
  • I can't believe this! I was in tears with laughter there! Hat off to who ever done this!
