Katrien sacked?

Would say its not exactly surprising that at least one member of staff keeps an eye on this site....for general info and especially in this time period of protests etc.
Probably RD himself...0 -
Stuffed you mean ?Cardinal Sin said:The club's reaction is so predictable. She really does have a shockingly poor judgement and zero sense of humour. It must be a nightmare working for her. Whoever did this deserves a place in the Museum once they are gone.

Ha. So there is. Say no more, nudge nudge, wink wink.DA9 said:There is a lifer who works at CH, wonder if he would care to comment?

So the new head of communications has failed to stop what looks like KM typing out a semi-literate telling-off and pressing "publish", making the club look like a laughing stock.
Going about as well as feared for her, sadly.26 -
Purely on the basis of CH procedures and how this could have happened etc etc.Covered End said:

It's a route to unsettling things at the club though.
Plus it's just a bit funny.
Un-like you.5 -
Thousands of documents go through the place every day, all taken in good faith, can be rectified easily enough, can't comprehend why they've gone public when there is such a simple solution. PR own goal to me.14

Does anyone remember the episode of Peep Show where Jez is to get Mark committed?
...just running with a few ideas....6 -
Has this been widely tweeted yet? Probably the best way to get the papers interested.0

Prime example of anger makes you stupid. The most retarded reaction possible.DA9 said:Club statement on OS

If you have to react and say something make sure the person typing the messaging is not pissed off:
"The club is aware of a report online that suggests the CEO has had her contract terminated. We would just like to confirm and shut down any rumor there is any truth in this. The CEO is very happy and the club is happy with her continued work at Charlton Athletic. Apologies for any misleading information found online that may make people believe otherwise".

Awful grammar, almost shouty.1

Would national media really be interested in this? Worth a try at getting journalists to pick up on it, but i don't see it running to be honest.0
-
Genuinely hilarious.
Funniest thing of all is the semi-illiterate message the club has posted on its website. Looks almost certain that squirrel face has written it in anger - thus proving she is as illiterate as she is incompetent.5 -
Perhaps not but as you say worth a try all the same.cafcsinger said:Would national media really be interested in this? Worth a try at getting journalists to pick up on it, but i don't see it running to be honest.

Think you mean the woman dictating the message rather than the poor sod ordered to upload it.Dave2l said:

Too true! The new Head of Comms is doing a sterling job I see.Fortune 82nd Minute said:Genuinely hilarious.

Makes 'Crimewatch' tonight a must see! Probably too late for a reconstruction though.11

"The club is investigating the matter as it is something they take very seriuosly" shame they don't take our league position, falling attendances and general mess so seriously then!8

It's the sort of thing the Guardian's Fiver email would love.4

Brilliant. And using 5th December just adds to the legendary status of whoever did this.
Don't get hung up on the phrase "on Companies House" though. Use them almost daily for work and we always refer to checking whether documents are "on Companies House".*
*note, that whilst I use CH regularly, I can't lay claim to this instance. Truly, sadly!3 -
Damn, @cafcfan 's odds were too short as were Airman's so had you at 5/1 with BetfairTelMc32 said:Brilliant. And using 5th December just adds to the legendary status of whoever did this.

You might do, but you wouldn't use that phrase in a public-facing article if you had a modicum of common sense. It's purely an indicator that it's been bashed out in anger, quite possibly without the input of any of CAFC's communications professionals, both new and less new.TelMc32 said:

I can't believe this! I was in tears with laughter there! Hat off to who ever done this!

I can't believe people think this is funny, I nearly renewed my season ticket on the strength of this headline.

It's funny how we find different things funny though, isn't it.
She enjoys a good laugh when we lose.
I enjoy a good laugh when she loses it :-)
Roland won't give her the sack, despite her being utterly hopeless, so some bright spark does it for him on the Internet. That IS funny.
To be honest I hope it has really pissed her off, because that's exactly how I feel Katrien when you laugh as other teams score against us, when you're economic with the truth, and you are contemptuous of people who are probably your betters.
In your important investigation I hope you uncover the truth because the evidence suggests it might be a new experience for you.
