Jose Baxter is actually a decent little player

    Pity he's a Stoner & Pill popper.

    No thanks.
Oh crap! Sorry I forgot all Charlton fans have never made a mistake in their life have they? My mistake.

  • RHODES IN DEMAND

Sky understands that two Championship clubs are interested in Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes.

One of those clubs is believed to be Sheffield Wednesday, with Rovers valuing the player at £12m.

Hopefully they sign him before Saturday but can anyone else see Wednesday getting a Transfer Embargo in the next 12-months if they dont go up... Maybe @OperationPig can explain?

Good player which means that the dumb duo won't do it.

Give him some acid and tell him he's playing for a half decent team.

#Alerte- Jorge Teixeira should leave the Standard for Charlton bit.ly/1nePfdy

Since the transfer of Milos Kosanovic , it was obvious that the future of Jorge Teixeira (29) was no longer in Sclessin . But if the Portuguese defender is courted by the United States , it should rather stay in Europe and try the English adventure. Not in the Premier League but in the Championship since it should engage with ... Charlton .

Roland Duchâtelet club , which just hired as coach José Riga with the key net 6-0 setback at Hull City, currently holds the penultimate place in the championship . Teixeira will have a mission to help the team to ensure its maintenance. The Standard could receive a little more than 500,000 euros in the transaction for a player who arrived free of Zurich May 20, 2014

A decent looking centre half. As the best fit centre halves we have, are Sarr & Lennon, it's a yes from me.

However, when did he last play and why ?

Also. as said above Riga should know him and what he is capable of.

He sounds more promising than some of the dross we get handed from the network (though technically Standard Liege no longer part of the network so this is a bit surprising). But at the end of the day I'd rather have decent experienced Centre Backs.

Better than unwanted tinned-prune fc players from the Indian leagues

Buyens, Bulot and TBH were more than good enough last season tbf and they weren't getting a look in there

Does this lead us to believe RD still has some kind of involvement at standard? Wasn't there talk of that before?

I think this is more a case of Riga knowing him and what he's capable of, rather than let's just get another player from Standard.

I'll trust Rigas judgement on this one... and he can't be worse than what we have surely.

Well, we don't have a fit CH, who is solid and can score at set pieces..
So if he can't pass very well, he just needs to lay it off.

Still sounds more promising than what we have, presently fit.

They could have left it as 'Solid' and it would be better than what we have fit. A 2ft wide brick wall on coasters pushed around by Henderson would be better than what we currently have fit.

Yann Kermorgant on a potential January move from Bournemouth:

“I want to play. I have still got a few years left in my legs and I don’t just want to train and watch my team-mates play. “It is a tough decision for me and my family but I will take the best one for us. “I will speak with the manager and we will take the best decision for him and for me. We have a good relationship and it is not a problem so we will talk and see what we can do. “If I stay, I will be happy. If I move, I will move. I don’t know yet. At the moment, I am I here and I enjoy every minute of it.”

he wouldn't enjoy every minute if he came back here - enjoy is not a Network approved word...

Buyens was wanted there. Bulot took long to adapt (We certainly don't have that time right now) and TBH was good in patches.

We can't be taking risks at this moment, but of course we are because of our owner.
