I see Johnie Jackson has told the NS that the team had got their "mojo" working due to to KF - when will he be confirmed as Manager I wonder ? One more good result and Katrien can call of her exhaustive search!

This amateurish organisation have not even announced his appointment to take over from Luzon......on the interim basis.

He's started okay, let's see how he does until the end of the year. Karel may turn out to be good - who knows?
  • It doesn't matter. One bad run and he'll get the chop.

No manager under RD gets the opportunity to recover from a slump
  • One major thing KF has done is get his captain, and the heartbeat of the team, on his side

You suspect that if KF had been in charge a year ago, Morrison would never have been sold

Whilst I am 100% against KF's appointment, I have to agree with this. For all of his lack of experience at this level, the bloke seems to understand the basic strategy of keeping your troops leaders close to you.

Or I should have said have a press conference.

Charlton do slumps better than most ?

We went 3 months without a win under Peeters,
and two and a half months under Luzon.

Under Riga despite a small squad we won enough games.
Roland had the hump with Jose because he played less Network players than Powell.

Time to go KF - You are not qualified, or experienced to run an English championship club and your new manger bounce barely registered! Back to three nil defeats already as you are clearly not up to the job.

KM can we have proper Manager now??

I hope Belgian Bun Utd kept his job open for him....although they've probably started winning in his absence.

Wim de bonk for manager, go on RolyPoly you can do it, save another €uro you clegnut
  • Still don't see why we can't go for A.C...

  • In football every manager is an interim manager.........that goes for double at Charlton.
  • Plenty of positives today according to Carol...

Especially as our sponsors could probably sort us out a discount.
  • Go away network numpty

All statistics in our favour today except one, says Carol.

    I thought it was three?
  • Plenty of positives today according to Carol...

He is right, there were positives as long as you don't count relegation as a negative.

Sure, Daryl Murphy back amongst the goals, Freddy Sears showed good movement. The weather's been awful all week but at least didn't rain today. I'm sure there must be more.
  • Simple- we want a proper manager.

Lots of reasons but here are two big ones:

    1. He will cost more than 10 bob per week.
    2. They will not relinquish the control he will want.

That applies to any UK manager. Let's hope if things don't work out for Karel - and they probably
won't - that we don't just get any old UK manager.

  • Indeed, UK based managers are used to having more responsibility than many foreign managers, which is why we are unlikely to get one. Regardless of who manages this club, if they don't change the ridiculous recruitment policies, they will all struggle.

As he is interim manager I assume the selection/ interview process for the permanent job is happening in the background, I wonder how its going, perhaps we should ask KM? ;-)

    Are you being serious?

I don't think he meant Alan Carr.

Contemporaries of Alan Curbishley such as Sam Allardyce and Mick McCarthy are still doing the business.
If we are going to have yet another change of manager then why not. You think that Malky MacKay would do better do you
or maybe the vastly experienced JFH? Dowie had a record like JFH before he came here and that went great didn't it!

And what makes you think these idiots are going to change their recruitment strategy?

We have to hope that they will learn from their mistakes. Yes, another owner may come along - but then another owner may not.
