Look forward to watching the video so I can see the full context and make my own mind up. I will try to do this with an open mind and considering the position of an owner putting £7M odd into the club each year.... But, tweets are going to make the open mind bit a little tricky !
Sounds like a total nothing evening of the fans being talked to like little kids by KM and she just comes out with the same things. None the wiser to the future plans they have for us and think she will get a lot of fans on her back even more with the comments about the minority (in her words) of fans protesting. She could have played this so much better and came across much better than it appears she did
For the record, I have some family issues which are keeping me busy at this moment in time - something even closer to my heart than our beloved Club.
But as soon as this meeting was announced , I KNEW I would not be able to disguise my contempt & anger with "this woman".
I have wasted numerous hours since she was introduced to us at a FF meeting all those months ago, listening to her excuses, half truths( that's being generous) and spin. Enough is enough. That's why I had already decided to relinquish my place in said Group , even before the invitation to attend tonight was received. I would have been "the one" that let down the side by caving in to my emotions....sadly.
As you know, I wear my heart on my sleeve ( and as a result have had my moments with certain Charlton people) but I will do almost anything for this Club ...except be a party to this bullsh*t any longer.
Consequently, I nominated Craig Norris to represent the now defunct NWKA - a former SD & man of integrity. Someone who wouldn't explode & disgrace himself like me when the same old meaningless words & phrases were invariably uttered tonight.
I have followed the posts tonight, hoping that there would be a point at which those representing the fans could & would take the upper hand....sadly, it seems as though that wasn't allowed to happen.
I won't comment on a particular issue "debated" tonight ....As far as I could ascertain, nothing of any importance WAS discussed .It sounded like one way traffic - in fact a car crash of a meeting. But I do believe that KM has left no-one in doubt as to her character, her arrogance and her assurances that she does encourage discussion between supporters and THEIR Club. And as such, albeit as a CAST member, I would vote for suspension of their efforts to engage with her in this manner.
Action IS required & sooner rather than later. The dogs of war have been unleashed & I'm one "bitch" who is ready, willing & able.
Katrien.
Roland.
You've been warned.
Absoultey spot on, everything you did in not attending and written above is bang on the money
We have got better with each managerial appointment (as evidenced by our league position and the fact that the players didn't trust the tactics of the fourth of those);
The fans are disgusting (as evidenced by Charlton fans' appalling disciplinary record and known reputation as troublemakers);
Managers get sacked when clubs gamble but we refuse to gamble (as evidenced by the managerial stability we have enjoyed);
West Ham may have cheap, local Premier League football but the fans would much rather watch youngsters (as evidenced by the huge attendances at the U21 games and how much we all enjoyed watching the six home games that Joe Gomez racked up);
Roland has never interfered with team selection (as evidenced by that known liar Chris Powell saying that he has);
50% of our fanbase is over 50 and we are targeting younger fans making up a much higher proportion (by losing fans over the age of 50 via schemes such as 'banging house music in an old man's bar', as KM had read about that time when they played classical music to prevent teenagers gathering in public spaces).
Attendances are growing (as shown by the fact that average attendance this season is 1400 down on last)
Main aim is to end the vacuum between fans, the owner and the board (hence Roland's presence)
"I want the CAFC fans to stand up against the negative people and don't give them a platform." Says the negative person. From her platform.
"Only five Premier League managers are English...it’s a global sport". (75% of the managers that we have employed happen to be Belgian and the other one was employed directly following managing a Belgian club - demonstrating the global approach of their ownership)
It was felt that Karel could come in straight away and do a good job and make the job his own. (Which is why they showed their faith in him by making him interim manager - he has kept a keen interest after all).
It's all this nonsense and bullshit that annoys me the most. How stupid do they think we are?

Time for CAST to stop asking for meaningful dialogue, it ain't gonna happen, time for FF groups to decline future attendance, time for protests to be accelerated.

That sounds like a good summing up of what we heard in this thread.
What a complete waste of time that was and just cant believe nothing of any importance wasnt asked by our fans...........and then a bloody round of applause at the end just to add to the insult of it all
How very, very sad. Sounds like she controlled the whole meeting to save her CV. The real sad bit is she thinks she got away with it! Never seen anyone to prove the "Peter Principle" as much as her.

This made me laugh but so so true .You really couldn't make it up .

Are we really in a tiny, pissed off minority? The only ones who feel the way we do about this dog-shit regime? Are we really outnumbered by more sensible fans who can see the value RD/KM bring and think we're just rabble rousers?
I find that incredibly hard to believe.
But it needs thousands of us, not just a few hundred, to take co-ordinated action to prove that our feelings are widespread.
We are children who should behave and listen to Father who knows best. Children should be seen and not heard, and ask permission before speaking. There are naughty children we should't play with. There is a Santa Clause and don't believe stories otherwise.

In fairness, if she wanted to provoke that she really couldn't have done a better job.

Post of the night
Not forgetting our disgraceful behaviour. Good job she wasn't in post at Liege when they stormed the boardroom.
Ok so whoever said they were ashamed of charlton fans protesting. I hope I never need to rely on you in a tight spot
And asking Jackson about his goal... There is nothing I can say about that without using vulgarity. Extreme vulgarity.
This is why other clubs take the piss out of us and while some of you might enjoy being called anoraks or trainspotters and be proud of smiling happily as the remaining entrails of our club are sucked out by these worms.
Never be afraid to ask questions, it separates us from the animals and brings people like Miere to account. I'm actually ashamed whoever asked them questions didn't know the mood and desire for answers or at the very least to make the patsies wriggle and draw information out of then like puss from a wound.
There are plenty of opportunities to be matey with players at supporters group meetings. This was nothing of the sort and those in attendance had a duty to not be sycophantic. Scabs

did it go well?

Not a total volte face but at least some admissions that things need to change and some concrete actions to move things forward.
Instead we get excuses and platitudes it seems.
I'll wait to hear from those that were there and see the presentation and the video but this just seems like a car crash.
Keep protesting, keep complaining, start wearing black and white and buy black and white balloons for the Ipswich TV games.
She clearly has got the message yet.

Next game the insults need to be worse an the hand gestures need to be shaken harder
