I personally felt uncomfortable with grown adults making wanker gestures toward her, giving her the finger and screaming that she was a fucking slut etc who should fuck off back to Belgium. No problem with the 'we want our club back', 'you don't know what you're doing' and the 'you're not fit to run our club' chants etc but such personal abuse? No sorry.
I also didn't feel she was laughing at us, certainly ill advised without a doubt to put herself in the firing line with tensions running high
The football club is clearly being run in a way which has alienated a lot of fans and I recognise fans' frustrations.

For balance: Re. Smiling and taking photos. I'm pleased she was taking photos, and emailing them to Roland to let him know the extent of fans feelings. That would be a sensible thing to do. As for the smiles, I think we can run and run with interpretation of why, it could be relief, it could be nerves, it could be smiling at the content of a banner, or seeing so many of Roland's faces. It could be that she knows she'll unveil Curbs and Kermorgant at the end of the international break . It's equally a jump the assume that he was laughing at the Charlon fans considering them mugs.

Meire isn't pulling the trigger but she has shown utter contempt for the supporters with her own relationship with them. I remember the fans forum last year, she was cocky, sarcastic and rude, at the first point of criticism which, in that environment, was as polite as you were going to get she was rude and brash. She has failed to show any modesty throughout this entire process since he bought the club, with the exception of shutting her mouth up until today.

This is a woman who has completely gone to ground since Luzon was fired. A decent CEO would at least face the media and not hide like a coward. Agree there should not be personal abuse as that hands her a moral high ground she is completely undeserving of. But she is unfit to run a club (or run much) and a disgrace professionally. I was addressing comments made by some members about my failure to mention there were women at the protest.
