    No... They all have to adhere to the regulations but the Engineers are allowed to translate them within reason. 

    Its like how Merc managed to implement that steering system last year, and no one else thought of it - It got appealed because it stretched the rules, but Merc were allowed to keep it because it didnt break the rules (they then changed them for this season to ensure they couldn't keep it)

    but then Lewis has to make a pass giving Max the option of just taking him out to win the title. If they think Lewis can probably hold on with the 2 drivers not getting close to each other again it makes sense

    Nah this is over unless Hamilton gets a puncture. 

    Verstappen hasnt got enough laps to catch AND pass Hamilton

    I thought so - hence all the discussions about how good one driver is compared to another as driving different cars, some better than others. Would be really interesting to see how they did if all racing the same/equal cars, even if it was just the occasional race

    Can see why the Stewards are doing it... But equally sympathise with Verstappen on this decision
