I think Leclerc is going to need proper therapy after this race.

Ferrari in general are an absolute shambles.

Superb race that, was convinced Piastri was going to nick it in the last couple of laps.

After Spain i was convinced Piastri would run away with it a bit, but 3 wins in the last 4 races for Norris and we have a real title race now.

Fantastic by Norris in the end. Poor start he needs to get his elbows out

If Norris had the hard edge that Senna, Schumacher and Verstappen had he would be nailed on to win, I think Piastri is harder, not by much but makes fewer mistakes.

First half of the race looked to have the makings of another “Monaco without the yachts”, but thanks to the split strategies and McLaren focussing on Leclerc who turned out to be zero threat it turned into an exciting final few laps. Great drive from Llando, but it was another recovery drive and he can’t keep putting himself in a hole and expect to dig himself out enough times to win a championship. Second half of the season is well poised, albeit it has become a one team race when were led to believe it could have been an all time classic four way fight this season.

I've never been a fan of Max but just watched this new interview with him on You Tube with Chris Harris (ex-Top Gear fame) and its sort of changed my opinion of him a bit.  Lets say I've warmed to him, actually showing a bit of personality, something we don't usually see on F1 weekends.

    Worth a watch... https://youtu.be/eY8pQMt8eB4?si=i66kTU5mQzqbTLD4

Have always thought that Max as a person, outside of the car has nearly always been quite good to listen to... Its when he's in the Car, or acting like a twat (post-race at Spain when responding to the questions about hitting Russell etc.) that I can't stand him.

Feels like he's surrounded himself with entirely the wrong type of people. His dad , Vermuelen his manager,Dr Marko and the constant leaks to Erik Van Haren just don't help him.

Remember when Vettel was at Red Bull and everyone thought he was a prick?

Seen a few posts on FB (and my daughter showed me on TikTok) that Hamilton is making some sort of annoucement on 8th August.  Can't believe he is walking away from Ferrari - suspect something to do with his other interests - music/fashion/whatever but who knows...!?

He maybe, he's never played second fiddle before and he clearly cant get as much out of the car as LeClerc- I don't think he'll stick around just for the money.

I just want to see Louis get one more championship title to replace the one that was stolen from him.
My guess is that it’s a great deal of what’s driving him forward and will continue to be so until such time as he either succeeds or fails.
    Good luck Louis.🤞👊

Hopefully he will design better clothes than what he wears.
I cringe at some of the outfits I see him in, he looks like a clown.

Yeah I was hoping for Drugovich instead of Perez but I guess for a couple of years to get them up and running it's not too bad.

How can both of them be the No.2 driver at a team?

Would expect VB to comfortably have the upper hand , the Caddy CEO can make all the comments he wants about the second Red Bull seat not being representative of Checos abilities but I'm just a bit meh about him being signed

Very good article here on the BBC by Andrew Benson - explaining Hamilton's struggles at Ferrari: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/articles/c4ger1vyjzvo

Sounds like Colton Herta might be doing F2 next season.

Probably the bravest, but most stupidest of decisions from a racing driver.

Only got to look at Miyata who did well in Super Formula, and was tipped to do well when he came over to F2 a couple of years ago... Rafa Camara is surely going to be the one to beat as well, let alone the Engine unreliability

Absolutely bizarre. He's 25 with everything to lose if he doesn't absolutely dominate. If he gets beaten by someone like a Rafa Camara or Freddie Slater as the main 2 rookies likely to be on the grid it's embarrassing for Caddy.

Dunno... I half expect Freddie Slater to go to F3 next season after all

Was watching a GB3 interview on YouTube over the weekend, and he spoke about F3 / Spa about being a learning curve for next season.
