At one stage Redbull were first and last, theres either something odd about their car set up, Tsunoda is a lot worse than previously thought or Max could win in a Maxi.
I just hope Red Bull don't throw Hadjar into the second seat woodchipper next season. He's got a very bright future but a second year at Racing Bulls would do him the world of good. Tsunoda has been incredibly underwhelming but I don't think they can keep on chopping and changing like Watford.
Arvid Lindblad isn't ready for F1 whatever Dr Marko might think after his antics this weekend in F2.
Yeah I think Lindblad's weekend might well have rescued one of Tsunoda / Lawson.
He gets far too many penalties throughout the season, and is becoming a concern
Just look at Bearman, he was fairly clean for the most part in F2 / F3, but can see him getting a race ban before he can start chopping away at his penalty points from Brazil as a result of a few silly moments in F1 this season.
If Lindblad goes into F1 with his current approach, then he wont last five minutes.

I think Red Bull are in a real pickle driver wise. Their academy is weak and no senior driver would want to be a very very defacto No2 driver. They might ultimately end up having to stick with what they have.
Great drive from Jack Crawford to win the F2 feature race in Baku, to put himself closer to Fornaroli in the championship. Great recovery from Fornaroli to limit the damage of a 10 second penalty for hitting Dunne, finishing 5th. Great pace from Durksen to claim 2nd place. Disappointing lack of pace from Lindblad.

Still went from 14th to 7th, and finished within DRS of Marti (Despite being screwed briefly by the double stack), who could yet get penalised. The AIX on the other hand, is rapid at high speed tracks.
Bit ridiculous that Fornaroli got 5th by punting Dunne, and effectively kept 5th, but that's the luck of draw sometimes. He owes Villagomez a drink
I just find this year's F2 field one of the most underwhelming maybe since De Vries won , yeah I get last year was an unprecedented year for F1 promotions but I just can't really get excited about most of these drivers ever making it to F1.
Not sure next year will be much of an improvement even with Camara and Tsolov already confirmed from F3.

I'll still be surprised if Lindblad doesn't get promoted this year, given that Red Bull are so impatient with their talent and they've put a lot of time, and expectation in him.
Next year is all going to be about Colton Herta though. Its a shame that Freddie Slater hasn't made the instant jump, as that would have made it a bit fun too. But you look at those coming through the lower ranks, and apart from him, there isn't really anyone else, down to F4 that screams talent, maybe Colnaghi and McLaughlin?

Would throw Nakamura-Berta and Seb Wheldon in too with Colnaghi and McLaughlin but it will be interesting to see who goes FRECA and who goes FIA F3.
Herta simply has to win the title and win it comfortably otherwise the whole thing looks like a joke. He can't be another Ritomo Miyata who never adapts to the car and tyres.

Terrible race for Browning
He did get up to 7th and was within drs of Marti. I'm not sure it was his pace that necessarily achieved that. If he gets promoted to F1 next year it would be undeserved and a bit desperate from Red Bull.

I think they absolutely are desperate. He needs another year in F2

Clearly copying the Rafa Camara route, which isn't surprising but must make him the favourite for the series.
Not exactly smart.

Luckily for him Norris isn't likely to finish high enough to capitalise.
