    Floyd and Harvey were introduced under Murray who some people want banned from the ground.

    I told my 6 year old daughter we might be losing the robin and knight mascot and she wasn't impressed! They're all she's known in her 3 years of support. She associates robins with Charlton and always loves pointing them out when we see one. I showed her pics of Floyd and Harvey and, for her, it's safe to say she's happier with our current duo.

    Likewise the "Young Reds" name was introduced under the old regime including Murray, yet like me you choose the original title of Junior Reds its about ridding the club of any reminders, my Grandchildren were upset when the original mascots were removed and unfortunately no longer attend, but that move was all part of a woman wanting to show who was in charge. Murray to me is non entity, he had his day and is hanging on to any coat tails he can find, the other guy I want out a lot more. Yes, its personal but he made it very personal but its all part of a fresh start. To add..... in the context of the takeover these are minor details and we should be celebrating together. Like I said, just my opinion. ;)

    Apologies, this certainly will bring the mood down a level it's not a general thing either but needed to put ut sown in words somewhere...

    Just found out a very close family friend, who we thought would and could never hurt a fly is suspected of murdering his wife and an elderly lady. They were the happy couple that had been together forever. I just can't reconcile any of the details that I've been in receipt of.

    Totally shaken & confused by this and obviously won't share further details about suspect or victims until an outcome is arrived at.

    Sorry to hear that mate. Probably best to wait and see what happens. Being suspected doesn't necessarily mean he did it, though obviously it means there's more than a good chance that he may have. Best to see what evidence comes out in court before trying to understand, let alone reconcile yourself with it.

    When you press the down arrow on the remote control whilst the tv schedule is displayed the channel number goes up (e.g. from 105 to 106) but when the tv picture is displayed you have to press the up arrow to get the same result.  Why's that?

    Road Ahead Closed signs. 

    I always imagine that the road ahead is closed, but invariably its just a side road that makes no difference to 99.9% of drivers. 

    Then there are diversion signs.  Who follows them and where do they go?  Had a situation locally recently, where a side road was closed and there were diversion signs pointing both left and right.  I sometimes wonder if it's crystal clear to everyone else and just me where confusion reigns.

    brushing/grooming our dogs the males almost throw themselves on their backs to have stomachs and groin area brushed and checked. Yet Valli a female lays down, refuses to stand and will try to bite if you attempt to lift her. 🤷‍♂️

    Why did the government call tier one lockdown medium? 

    When you have three levels medium should correspond to the one in the middle i.e. tier 2.  Far better to have described the tiers as 1: A bit dodgy, 2: Phew, this ain't looking good, 3: Jeez, we're all in trouble now.
