As with most championship game this, in my mind, is a difficult game to predict. Charlton, for their fantastic start, have not really dominated any of the games they have played and I feel the limitations of our game were fully exposed by Bournmouth at the weekend. Bolton on the otherhand have been pretty poor, but have just employed a manager with decent pedigree, which so far in the very short term seems to have improved them.
With that being said, I can see this being a very scrappy game, 1 - 1.
Also Bikey will not be starting up front from the start, this is not FIFA.
Injuries are starting to stretch an already thin and shallow squad.
A barely 17 year old boy can hardly be expected to play a second full 90 minutes in only his second full match so goals, unless Jacko has one of his inspired moments, are pretty much non existent in the team if, as is 99.99999% certain, Igor is missing.
No Solly and probably no Gomez through injury so Lawrie Wilson will have to play at right back which reduces our limited attacking options still further.
I'll be happy with a point in the circumstances against a resurgent team anxious to impress its charismatic new young manager.
0-0 is the best we can hope for. If they score we lose.
