I hate hearing people saying 'for free'. It should either be just 'free' or 'for nothing'. 'For free' has become so common you could say it has now become correct as language evolves over time.........but I still think it is wrong!2

There's a shop near me that used to have a vinyl banner rather than a proper sign, and they'd obviously typoed the order, because it read "What She Want's". I'm not especially pedantic, but that was like nails down a blackboard every time I went past it. Thankfully they've been able to splash out for a proper shopfront now.1
