Thought he was immense this evening, never put a foot wrong was calm under pressure, distributed the ball well, made some great interceptions and the timing of his tackles in the penalty area were spot on and needed to be! His experience and leadership of the defence could be seen in abundance. He was the first to go to Pope to put an arm round him for the ricket and then had no qualms about passing back to him when play restarted as much to say ''here you go mate forget that I still trust you and put your foot through this'. Early days but all those who were giving him pelters when we signed him I hope you have a penchant for humble pie :-0

Agree, I wasn't convinced at all when we signed him and thought he'd be third or fourth choice but he's been excellent.
