They're going to consult fans about food and drink.
Can see it now:
'...so some of you limey faggots are vegetarians huh? That sucks but anyway OK we have three choices for you, a hot cheese and onion pasty, or a cold or lukewarm or frozen in the middle cheese and onion pasty, or a portion of jack chite. Whaddaya you guys want?'
How about Quorn Peppered Steak Style Slice (not the pasty as it is vile)? Could get them in for about £1 each, heat them and knock them out for about £2.50 on match days which seems reasonable.
hardly, they only tweeted they were going to make an announcement 10 mins before they did it, just some one posted on here saying it was a "big announcement" and was the one creating the hype.

So im guessing it'll be about £4/£4.50 for a bottle of carlsberg....
So pretty much the same as most of London then!
Am looking forward to a decent burger rather than the vile slice of mystery meat twixt a stale roll. And just more choice generally. Perhaps my dinner on Tuesday night games will now be more then a bovril and a chunky kit kat bar!
Glad to see they are consulting fans via the Fans Forum.
Of course the quality v price question remains as do the inherent issues with the size and locations of the outlets, the demographic, people habits and the other options available.
Outsourcing has a lot of advantages but also potential risks when you give up an element of control.
Its also a key shift away from the policy as explained by Ben Kensell priviously but that doesn't make it a bad thing

SO much time over past seasons on here, complaining about the queues at halftime, the poor fare on offer & the ineptitude of staff at the kiosks !
Along comes a BIG announcement that shows the Club HAS been listening & yet it gets a lukewarm response...there really is no pleasing some folk.
Of course, only time will tell whether actions speak louder than words but with fans' views being sought, I for one, am optimistic that this is yet another step in the Valley upgrade.
However, it will be interesting to see just how many fans respond to the upcoming survey.....I shall give my views but apart from a glass of the white stuff pre match in Bartrams, I never make a purchase on the concourse. It's down to the regulars to take this opportunity to ensure their voices are heard.
I may be naïve in assuming that this is a good move by the Club & that the interests of supporters is paramount here ....There may well be Lifers that know better - those "ITK" who may point to ulterior motives for this decision - but, simple soul that I am, I can only see the positives for the faithful.
And who knows.....those hot, delicious pies ( veggie options for Seth included) , warm sugary do'nuts & mega burgers could be laced with that very special ingredient that our friends across The Pond enjoy at those "rounders" games they love....a mind altering ingredient that turns the consumer into a happy, clappy individual that cheers & whoops at every move his team makes.
And you never know...
The moaners & whingers might become a distant memory.
