Anybody else not wonder why this sort of upgrade wasn't done when we was in the prem, even just the AstroTurf around the pitch, under soil heating, lots of money was spent/wasted elsewhere,. Well done the current board/owners.
Not my photos but Cruicky21's from yesterday evening.
Looked really impressive
If you look at the 2nd to last pic you can see some unpainted steps behind gate 7 at pitch level. Shows how much brighter and safer the new steps are. You can see them more easily and the non-slip paint should help prevent falls.
Show just how much of a state TJ and MS had allowed the ground to get into
One other thing was no University of Greenwich signage up yet. Still got four weeks I guess.

I think Rd is wiling to invest in the infrastructure whilst saving money on the squad through using the network player pool.

I hope Cruicky21 chased those birds from the pitch!
Speechless at how good the Valley is looking. RD needs to take huge credit for this. I can't remember the last time I've been this excited for a season to start!
Cleaned seats covered with bin bags to save re cleaning.
Theres a problem with the pitch in the n/w section near the touchline. I think they said there has been some damage caused by foxes and its quite patchy, they reseeded it today and are using the lamps on it. It seems to be the only bad bit though, the rest looks superb. Because the drainage is better theres no need for the pitch to be higher in the middle than on the sides, so its almost completely flat now.
The old girls looking the part now, and we really have to be pleased with RDs investment in the ground.
